When visiting the beautiful Ouachita Mountains, stay in this vacation cottage nestled in the foothills just three miles out of the county seat town of Mena, Arkansas.
Willowbrook is a delightful storybook cottage, set in 10 acres of woods and flower gardens. With the bubbling brook and waterfall, loveseat swing, the stone fireplace, the Jacuzzi bathtub, the privacy, the charming ‘Mayberry’ type town, the beautiful Ouachita Mountains--you will agree with one guest who wrote in the guest book, “I felt like I was in the middle of a romance novel…"
The Willowbrook Garden Cottage has 6 rooms, including living room with fp, fully equipped kitchen, glassed garden room, 2 queen bedrooms, and two full baths, one with Jacuzzi bathtub. Outside is large charcoal BBQ smoker/cooker, stream with waterfall, ten acres of woods and flower gardens. The peak rate is $160 per night; off peak price is $150 plus a free third night! Plus, 10% discount for week-long stays all year (some peak and holidays excluded). Your own private kitchen, living, and gardens.
Surrounded by a stone and ivy fence, the ten acres is landscaped with roses and perennials, and has a waterfall and wooded hillside just behind the cottage. Springtime at Willowbrook is the most magical time of all, with a profusion of azaleas, irises, and many other flowers, autumn is wonderful too with all the different colors in the woods, winter is great for brisk walks, cozying up by the fireplace; and summer is great for relaxing in cool Air Conditioned comfort after outdoor summer sports.
The Willowbrook Nest is an incredibly charming English style apartment in the right wing and loft of the Willowbrook manor house, separated from the Willowbrook Garden Cottage unit. It has one loft queen bedroom, Jacuzzi bathtub and shower, 2nd story private deck, kitchen, sunroom, den/study with cable TV, vcr/dvd, and loads of books, and a private patio. The rate is $145 per night during peak months, but $140 in off-peak months with third night free. 10% discount for week-long stays (some peak and holidays excluded).

Woodhaven Cabin(pictured left): In a clearing in the woods, it is a large one-room cabin with queen bed downstairs plus 2 singles in loft. Living area with VCR and CD and fireplace; kitchenette and eating area; Jacuzzi garden tub in bathroom, plus shower. Outside is nice deck with woods all around, and small charcoal BBQ grill and picnic table. Wireless Internet. $135 per night peak months; $125 off-peak with third night free, double occupancy, $10 per additional person. No Pets Sunnybrook Cabin: A cute cabin that sleeps 6, has fridge/freezer, stove, dishes, linens, bathtub, shower, dvd/vcr, BBQ grill, with large shady lot, privacy fence, stream, wooded hillsides front and back. Privacy. $95 per night peak months, $85 off-peak with third night free, double occupancy, additional persons $10. No Pets |
