Most of our rooms have breath-taking views of Avalon harbor and its scenic surroundings. We offer a range of room sizes all with deluxe king or queen beds and an array of amenities. Some of our rooms can also accommodate a Murphy bed for additional family or friends.

Most rooms feature either 20 or 30 inch flat screens. High-speed internet connections are available for your convenience in each room at no extra charge. We also have in-room DVD/CD players with a library of the latest releases for your enjoyment. Laptop computers can be borrowed from the front desk if needed.
Continental just begins to describe our complimentary breakfast. Served from 7 to 10 a.m., the breakfast features fresh fruit, bagels, granola and muffins as well as fresh orange juice, organic coffee and a full selection of teas. Help yourself to some whole fruit for a snack later in the day

Weddings at The Avalon Hotel on Catalina Island

Each year, thousands of couples take advantage of that aura of romance to honor their relationships. Whether you're planning on eloping with just you and that special someone or organizing a traditional wedding with 300 guests, Catalina offers it all. At The Avalon Hotel, we would be honored to provide special accommodations for the wedding party, a never-to-be-forgotten room for your first night as husband and wife or, in limited circumstances, a dramatic location for your ceremony.
Our roof-top deck offers panoramic views of Avalon Harbor, the quaint city of Avalon and the Island's rugged hillsides. With those sweeping views as a backdrop, you and your guests will fondly remember your wedding day. Our garden courtyard, which features a koi pond, exotic plantings and romantic landscaping, is also available for ceremonies. Both the rooftop deck and the garden courtyard can accommodate 30 people. In order to respect our other guests we ask that all of The Avalon's rooms be booked by the wedding party.

Tours
Whether you are planning your first visit to the island or your 51st, Catalina always offers something new to discover. From dramatic vistas overlooking the pounding Pacific to world famous architectural treasures, there are dozens of wonders waiting to be seen and more than a dozen ways to see them.
First time visitors will want to get an overview of the quaint town of
Avalon and the best way to do just that is through a tour of the city. Both Catalina
Discovery Tours and Catalina Adventure Tours offer day and
evening tours of this fascinating small town, where Hollywood legends
vacationed and Big Bands brought the world to Avalon.
While Avalon's many charms will keep visitors intrigued, the rest of the
island offers unparalleled natural beauty and stunning vistas as well as the opportunity
to glimpse bison, deer, bald eagles and Island foxes.
General tours of Catalina's dramatic interior also include visits to the
Airport in the Sky and the Catalina Conservancy's nature center. Catalina
Discovery Tours' Interior Tour also includes a horse show at El Rancho Escondido,
the Wrigley's legendary Arabian horse ranch.
Both Catalina Discovery Tours and Catalina Adventure Tours also offer additional tours, such as a tour of the world famous Casino Ballroom and an Avalon Walking Tour. Whichever way you choose to explore, Catalina’s many charms are just waiting to be discovered.
