Located just minutes away from dozens of amazing attractions in and around Monterey, California, our historic inn is both a romantic hideaway and a fun family retreat.

Located within walking distance are fabulous and quaint specialty shops, cafes, and historical buildings from the turn-of-the-century.  A beautiful stroll along the recreational trail can take visitors from Lover's Point to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and famous Cannery Row.

There are two buildings on our property, Buck Mansion and Tuttle Cottage. Our 16 guestrooms are all non–smoking rooms furnished in the Queen Anne style to reflect the buildings’ Victorian era architecture. Each guestroom is unique, outfitted with one–of–a–kind antiques and varying color schemes.

In every guestroom, you’ll find modern touches like cable television, VCRs for viewing videos available in our library, telephones with free local calls, and fax machines.

Some rooms connect to each other, and a few have balconies or patio access.

Gourmet breakfast every morning in our breakfast room, warm cookies at night, afternoon wine reception and more!

Wireless Internet access throughout the hotel. Even on vacation, staying connected is important. That’s why we provide our guests with free wireless Internet access in the parlour area of the Buck House. So go ahead and bring along your wi–fi enabled laptop.

Relax by the fire. Several of our guestrooms are furnished with delightful gas fireplaces providing a cozy, warm atmosphere throughout the year. There’s also a fireplace in our parlor where guests often gather for afternoon tea or a refreshment any time of day. Take advantage of our video library, browse through our selection of books, or set up a board game for an evening of family fun.

  •  Each extra person in the room is an additional $25 charge per night
  •  Rates are subject to applicable taxes and fees, and subject to change without notice
  •  Minimum stays apply on certain weekends or major events

  • Name, telephone number, home or mailing address, email address and a major credit card are required at time of reservation to confirm your booking
  • One night deposit of room, taxes and fees is required at the time of booking
  • Cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to arrival date
  • Special Events and Prime dates require 7 day cancellation policy prior to arrival date
  • Late cancellations within 72 hours or 7 days of arrival will be subject to a penalty.  One night deposit will be forfeited and non-refundable. 
  • No show policy - One night deposit will be forfeited and non-refundable
  • Pacific Grove Inn is an entirely smoke free hotel.  There is a non-refundable $350.00 smoking fee charge to your account if caught smoking inside the facility
  • Pacific Grove Inn is a pet friendly hotel.  Advance reservation is required when traveling with your four legged lovable friend/s and family as only three of our rooms are pet-friendly.  There is a 2 pet maximum per room and an additional non-refundable $25.00 fee per pet per night. 
  • Front Desk is open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.  For unexpected early or late arrivals and departures, special requirements, dietary needs and confidential arrangements can be accommodated with advance notice. 
  • We are open all year round!
