This St. Bernard
Lodge has been greeting guests since 1929.
Close to Mount Lassen and Lake Almanor.
The St. Bernard Lodge is a rustic bed and
breakfast (B&B) inn located only 20 minutes from Mount Lassen Volcanic
National Park and 15 minutes from Lake Almanor. We are and have
been, since 1929 a central lodging and resting spot for National Park
travelers.
Many of our guests arrive by car but many come wanting to pitch a tent in the nearby
campgrounds, eat at our renowned restaurant and enjoy a nightcap in our tavern. But many
travelers arrive with RV’s and with horses that require boarding. Horseback riding is
available at Lassen Volcanic National Park.
St. Bernard Lodge provides overnight boarding for both rider and horse!

The accommodations at the lodge consists of 7 cozy, comfortable rooms located upstairs of our full service restaurant and tavern. All rooms are country casual, with luxurious bath robes provided for your convenience as you take a relaxing dip in the outdoor spa. |
As you ascend the staircase to the second floor of our bed and breakfast inn, you experience a sensation of stepping back in time a century or so ago, reminiscent of a simpler, unhurried era. The feeling of old-world charm can be felt in each of our vintage continental style rooms. The second floor offers 7 rooms and can sleep up to 22 guests. The picturesque hallway is adorned with vintage artwork and a mural sized picture of St. Bernard.
Enjoy your favorite beverage as you play a game of pool or darts in the newly remodeled tavern. With rosewood pub tables and comfortable chairs, the tavern is a perfect place to relax and visit with other guests. Dine in casual elegance on lace covered tables in our dining room. Memorabilia, antiques and historic prints adorn the knotty pine walls.
A full breakfast is included with your
stay.
Lunch and dinner are available by reservation.

Groups
Planning a function? The upper level of the lodge is a great and
affordable place to rent for small to medium sized groups. We can accommodate up to 22
people for family reunions, girl's weekend out, wedding receptions, corporate
outings, church retreats, scrap-booking groups and more. Access to areas such as
the outdoor patio and tavern with pool table and dart board lend to the relaxation and
privacy. Check out the ponds stocked with fish or take a visit to feed
the horses, ducks and geese to experience the beautiful outdoor scenery of the
lodge.
The dining room is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with cocktail service at our fully
stocked bar. We can create a special menu for your group's needs, pack a picnic lunch for
you, or BBQ out on the deck. Our homemade soups, tasty bread and delicious meals
will take you back to a time when the point of cooking was in the fulfillment of the
guest. We take great pride in our classic recipes and warm, friendly service.
The rental of the upstairs at the St. Bernard Lodge includes all guest rooms and both beautifully appointed bathrooms on either end of the hallway for your convenience.

Rate for entire upstairs is only $400 per night. You may choose to have as few guests or up to a maximum of 22 guests for this price. Meals are not included in price. Meals can be pre-set for groups to meet your budget and diet needs.
