The Knickerbocker Mansion Country Inn is located in the heart of Big Bear Lake, California. It nestles on two-plus acres just three blocks from the village and four blocks to the lake. It also backs directly to the San Bernardino National Forest. The historic, rustic log, main lodge was built in 1920 by William Knickerbocker, the first Big Bear Lake Damkeeper, as a private home for his family. It was converted to a Bed & Breakfast in the mid 1980's. It now consists of the main lodge and a separate converted carriage house. The mansion features nine standard bedrooms, each with private bath and two large suites with private baths. All rooms feature either queen or king beds, TV/VCR, and telephones. |

The Little Knick is a 1200 sq. ft. vacation cabin located in upper Moonridge on a quiet, heavily treed, Wolf Road lot. The cabin sleeps six. The two second floor bedrooms, one with private 3/4 bath, have elegant queen beds. The first floor great room has an additional queen sofa bed and a full bath, fully equipped kitchen and dining area plus rustic bar. Both bathrooms have recently been renovated with marble tile. The house is available completely furnished. Amenities include woodburning fireplace, TV/VCR, stereo with CD player, microwave, telephone, washer/dryer, full linens with feather beds and down-filled comforters plus maid service. |

House - There are four large, corner rooms located on the second floor Carriage House - This secluded house has four cozy,
romantic rooms on the second floor. The Carriage House is located 150 feet from the
main house. Each has its own outside entrance: Carriage House Suite - Located on the first floor of the Carriage House, this luxury suite has a king size bed in a "sleeping nook" Forest View Suite - This full handicap accessible bedroom and private bath has a queen size bed and recently remodeled bath. |
