Lonesome Dove Bed and Breakfast invites you to come and relax in a country setting, a bird watchers haven, peaceful, calm setting on 3 acres of land, pond and stream. A canoe awaits a turn around the pond. Sit by the fire in the common room, enjoy the view, read a book snuggled in cozy robes, or just relax with a nice cup of coffee or tea.
Our bedrooms are beautiful decorated in shapes of blue and mauve. The Lilly Room has a four poster queen size bed, private bath. The Taylor Room has dark furniture with a queen size bed that is cozy and warm. Our spare room is cranberry with a shared bath. Air conditioning, privacy, a full country breakfast served between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Corporate pricing and a continental breakfast is available during the week.
The Lonesome Dove Bed and Breakfast is ideal for special occasions, teas, small weddings as well as wine tasting and afternoon sailings with a champagne lunch.
Lonesome Dove is a bordering town of Norwich, which has Americus on the Wharf and Dodd Stadium. We are on the Connecticut Wine Trail, minutes from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos, and 20 minutes from Mystic Seaport.
