We specialize in romantic getaways, such as anniversaries, wedding nights and other special events. Make your visit extra special by adding on one of our optional pampering packages.

The Inn features 5 rooms and 3 open suites - all feature either king or queen beds, luxuriously fitted with high count linens. Each is tastefully decorated and accented to reflect the historical essence of the nineteenth century, yet is modern in conveniences and comfort.

All have private bath, air conditioning, cable television, and telephone

Each radiates its own personality-some are brighter, some are more casual. What they all have in common is comfort, charm, and grace. An elegant parlor and library provide delicious ways to escape the world and drift off by yourself.

Nightly room rates are $109 to $159 plus state and local taxes. *Rates are seasonal and vary between room types. There is an extra $35 charge for a third person staying in the Carriage House room  *special events surcharges may apply  Please ask about extended stay rates and corporate rates.

A full and healthy breakfast is elegantly served on fine china and cut glass crystal, that features fresh fruit, breads, yogurt, and frequent gourmet hot dishes such as caramel apple French toast and egg-cheese casseroles.

Complimentary sherry is the final intimate touch before a good night's rest.

Policies
  • We specialize in quiet, romantic getaways - consequently we offer an adults only environment that only accepts children 17 years of age and over.
  • We regret that we can not accept pets, but would be delighted to make arrangements for boarding your pets nearby.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the Inn or the Carriage House. Smoking is permitted outside on the verandah and on all patios.
  • Reservation Information: Please call (706) 353-2200 or write to make a reservation. One nights deposit (normally guaranteed with a credit card) is required to confirm a booking. It is fully refundable if you cancel at least 5 days* before 4:00 PM of your expected arrival day. If canceled closer to that time, a refund is given ONLY if that room is later occupied by other guest. In both cases a $20.00 cancellation fee applies. * Other cancellation polices apply for special events.
  • Check in time is between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM: (Other times may be arranged). Check out time is 11:00 AM.
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

We are only 5 miles from the heart of downtown Athens, home of the University of Georgia. The many shops, restaurants, and abundant nightlife are but 10 minutes away.
