Our Guest Rooms
Washington Plantation
offers five spacious and luxurious bedrooms each with a private bath, individually
controlled heating and air conditioning, and original heart pine floors with fine oriental
rugs. Each room has a gas log fireplace or coal grate, telephone, cable television and
free wireless internet access. All of the bedrooms have a writing desk and sitting
area. Bathroom amenities include bayberry and glycerin soaps, bath salts, bubble bath,
shower gel, hand and body lotion,
luxurious spa robes and slippers, lighted magnifying vanity mirrors and Egyptian cotton
towels.
Even though all rooms share the same high level of luxury, each is different in tone
and feeling. The rooms are named, with one exception, for members of our family, and the
decoration and furnishing reflect the taste and style of the individual.

A full-service breakfast is served
from 8:30 until 10:00 AM. Early risers will find juice, rolls and other goodies outside
their doors after 7:00 AM. Special menus can be arranged with advance notice.
Policies |
- The bedrooms and public areas of Washington Plantation are non-smoking. You may,
however, smoke on the porches where plenty of chairs and tables are available.
- Deposits on reservations are required in the form of a valid credit card number or
check.
- We accept MasterCard and Visa.
- For a two-night stay we ask for one night’s room rate. For stays of three or more
days we ask one-half the rate for the entire stay.
- Deposits are fully refundable if cancellation is made 14 or more days before scheduled
arrival. Cancellations made between 13 and 7 days of scheduled arrival are refundable if
the room can be re-rented. Cancellations made less than one week prior to scheduled
arrival are not refundable.
- Payment for the entire stay is expected on arrival.
- Check-in hours are from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. If your plans involve earlier or later
arrival, please let us know in advance.
- Checkout time is 11:00 AM. Late checkout may be arranged at extra cost.
- We don’t have the facilities to allow pets.
- Well-behaved children are welcome, but to be truthful, they might find us boring. We
have two rooms that will accommodate a third person at an extra charge of $35 per night.
- We reserve the right not to tolerate behavior that is objectionable to us or to other
guests. Violators will be asked to leave the house.
