The Getaway Lodge
pictured below offers luxury for couples in three romantic suites: Bordello,
Frontier and Timber. Each suite has a private bath, Jacuzzi
whirlpool tub or hot tub, plus working in-room fireplace, satellite TV, mini-refrigerator,
coffeemaker, free wireless internet and more. The Bordello and Timber suites also
feature outside entrance from their own private screened patio or porch. Mix'N Match
Romance packages and taste tempting full gourmet breakfast make the Getaway
Lodge accommodations one of Illinois favorite vacation choices for romantic
honeymoon or anniversary hideaway. Small Weddings also a specialty!

The Timeaway Lodge pictured
below offers standard B&B lodging for family, business, and leisure travel in northern
Illinois, is comfortable and spacious with five Family Guestrooms. Each
has private bath, free wireless internet, cable TV, river views, and sleeps up to 4
persons. The large gathering room welcomes on-site package activities such as Murder
Mystery weekend, Cooking Getaway, or Scrapbooking Retreat, even ocassional house
concerts. Rent the entire lodge for family reunion, business retreat, or church
groups. The waterfront setting is also a beautiful site for Weddings. Indoor wedding
ceremony or reception for 2 to 65 guests. Outdoor weddings on the lawn or under tent for
up to 100 guests.

- DEPOSIT & CANCELLATIONS
TELEPHONE RESERVATIONS require first night lodging fee as deposit for
confirmation. Full payment required on arrival. No refund of any payment within 72 hours
of arrival. Cancellations from date made to 72 hours prior to arrival are charged $25
non-refundable service fee. Remaining deposit retained until unit is rerented. If unit is
not rerented, balance held as non-transferable credit toward future Monday through
Thursday night reservation. Unused credit expires 60 days from date canceled.
ONLINE RESERVATIONS require fixed deposit fee for confirmation. Online
deposit payments made through PAYPAL are nonrefundable and will be retained as service fee
in event of cancellation.
GROUP/FACILITY RESERVATIONS require 50% deposit to confirm rental. Full
payment required 30 days prior to arrival. No refund of any payment within 30 days of
arrival. $100 cancellation service fee from date made to 30 days prior to arrival.
GROUP/FACILITY HOLD-THE-DATE Preferred date(s) held available for guest
as courtesy on tentative basis, or until another request for same date received, upon
which notified guest has 24 hours to confirm with 50% deposit. Hold-the-Date fee applied
to same date rental only. Reservation must be confirmed with balance of required 50%
deposit 60 days prior to arrival. $100 cancellation fee 60 days prior to date held. No
refund within 60 days of date held.
LONG TERM/EXTENDED STAY require deposit of first week rental and damage
deposit to confirm reservation. First four weeks rental payment balance is due on initial
arrival. After initial 4 week rental, payment is due beginning of week prior on a weekly
basis to end of rental. In the event of cancellation, a refund of monies paid, less $25
service fee will be made if River House is notified more than two weeks prior to initial
arrival. Should notification be made less than two weeks prior to initial arrival or less
than two weeks prior to end of rental, all monies paid are subject to forfeiture. Failure
to pay weekly balances on the stated due date will result in the automatic cancellation of
the rental.
