Set amidst the rolling hills, rich green forests, and meandering streams of this unique corner of Porter County, the old farm house at Timberlake Farms was once a dairy farm, once home to thoroughbred horses, and once a comfortable hunting lodge. Today, more than 100 years after it was originally built, the farm house has been carefully restored, beautifully enlarged, and renamed The Inn at Aberdeen.

Enjoy company? Join with friends in the richly over-stuffed chairs of the Solarium. Enjoy a stroll through the gardens, take a walk, go jogging, or ride a bike through the beautiful Village of Aberdeen, or down tranquil roads into the
surrounding countryside. Play chess or checkers in the Library If you’re hungry, try the Solarium. There’s always a tasty choice of refreshments available to guests, no matter what the time. Still hungry? Contact the Innkeeper and the
kitchen is yours.  Of course, we serve a full gourmet breakfast every morning in the kitchen overlooking the gardens and aviary.

The Inn offers golf packages for the new Course at Aberdeen - which winds about The Inn and The Village of Aberdeen. The Course is an 18-hole, 7,000 yard truly magnificent championship course with concrete cart paths; 4 tees per hole to meet every golfer's needs; bent grass turf throughout - the tees, greens and fairways; and bunkers scattered throughout the serene woodland setting amidst meandering streams and quiet ponds. The Inn's golf packages feature a welcome gift at check-in, unlimited range balls, your choice of cart or walking, and the opportunity to get priority Tee-times at the time you reserve your stay at The Inn. Rates and Policies
  • Rates: $102 - $195
  • Check In: 4p.m.
  • Check Out: 11a.m.
  • Rates are based on single or double occupancy per night.
  • Additional persons or roll-away - $20.00 per night
  • Taxes not included.
  • Rates subject to change.
  • You may be able to check-in by 3:00 PM if room is ready – please call ahead.
  • For an additional fee, you may check-in earlier or check-out later – please contact Innkeeper for the availability of your room for your reservation and the additional cost. (219/465-3753
  • DEPOSITS
    A minimum deposit for lodging and conference space will be assessed at the time the event is booked and will be equal to fifty percent (50%) of the estimated, applicable lodging and conference charges unless modified by the owner. Food service requests and final participant numbers should be provided a minimum of two (2) weeks in advance and will incur an additional deposit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the estimated food charges. Based on the menu selected, The Inn will try to accommodate additions to the final food service numbers if at all possible. If outside services are requested (e.g., chairs, tents, tables, linens, catering, music, photographer, etc.), payment in full for these services will be required in advance of the time of rental unless otherwise specified by the vendor providing such services.
  • SERVICE CHARGES
    The Inn reserves the right to assess a service charge of twenty percent (20%) against the charges of all outside vendors who bring products or services onto the Inn's property. The Inn will arrange or assist the event sponsor with such outside services. All outside vendors must be acceptable to The Inn. NSF checks will incur a twenty five dollar ($25) service fee. Failure to pay any amounts due to The Inn within fifteen (15) days of billing will incur an additional service charge at the rate of eighteen percent (18%) annual percentage rate, at the discretion of the owner.
  • DELAYS IN SERVICE
    Events should reasonably start and end at the appointed time. Should an event or meal service be delayed for greater than a half hour by the host or their party, the Inn reserves the right to add a labor charge equivalent to $15.00 per hour for each staff member scheduled for the event (Chef, server, kitchen help, etc.). The Inn cannot be responsible for the quality of food which is delayed greater than thirty (30) minutes beyond the scheduled start time.
  • CANCELLATIONS
    Cancellation of Whole Inn or Conference rentals or blocks of rooms in excess of five (5) must occur a minimum of six (6) weeks in advance of the scheduled event date, or two (2) weeks for Conference, Banquet or Block Room Rentals. Failure to cancel in a timely manner will result in a cancellation fee equal to fifty percent (50%) of the rental rate for lodging or conference space, fifty percent (50%) of the estimated food service charges, and 100% of any cancellation charges assessed by vendors for outside rentals and services plus a vendor service charge of twenty percent (20%) assessed by The Inn.
  • No Smoking Environment
