(in 1889) by a local physician (Dr. Jordan).

Serenity Bed & Breakfast Inn has three comfy rooms, but don't ask for a small bed! All rooms come with a king-size bed with either a premium pillow-topped Sterns & Foster or Sealy mattress. A full breakfast is always complimentary with your Guest room. Serenity B&B offers a variety of full, cooked breakfasts and your breakfast order is taken the evening before. Options range from a little bit gourmet to down-home and country... Frangelico creme stuffed hand-cut french toast, griddle cakes - rich and flavorful made with heavy dairy cream, berries and sweet almond oil or try our breakfast Monte Cristo sandwich stacked high w/ ham, three cheeses, egg washed and pan fried in real butter and served with seedless raspberry jam.
All breakfasts come with fresh fruits, pastries, danishes or croissants and all the fresh coffee (or decaf) and orange juice you can hold. Even ice water is served fresh lemon, fresh lime and fresh mint. Always the option of having breakfast in the main dining room or breakfast-in-bed. Breakfast is usually served between about 7:00am and 9:00am, but earlier or later times are easy to accommodate.

Inn have created incredible Christmas Wedding Specials just
for you this holiday season. The wedding of your dreams doesn’t have to take
place during the popular wedding months. A winter wedding can be incredibly romantic and
on top of winter-time romance, you’ll enjoy the many financial advantages too!
While the summer months remain the most popular time of year to say “I do”, many
couples are opting for winter dates with good reason. Since many locations will already be
lavishly decorated, your décor budget will be minimal. This can save you hundreds on your
wedding budget. Most venues offer discounted rates and special packages during the winter
months. Consider too that many family members and friends will already be making plans to
be in town for the holidays. They will welcome and appreciate the timing of your wedding
event. Over all winter weddings are a real bargain and a perfect time to gather everyone
together. They may even be all together anyway at this time!
Most bed and breakfast can accommodate both the ceremony and the reception, so
there’s no need to shuffle your guests from a ceremony venue to a reception venue.
Some bed and breakfast venues also provide catering, while others allow for outside
catering.
Murder Mystery Package
Beginning December, 2011 Serenity will begin
offering a Murder Mystery Dinner package the second Saturday of every
month*. Check-in time is 6:00pm. Dinner is served at 6:30. Murder mystery play will begin
at 7:30-ish and end around 9:00-ish.
Package is priced for two and comes with an overnight Guest Suite for two and gourmet
breakfast for two the following morning. The two-person package price is $295.
These Murder Mystery plays are interactive, so expect to have a role and
get into the fun! Serenity B&B has all the props!
Includes: Murder Mystery play, Dinner for two, Overnight Guest Suite for two, and
Gourmet Breakfast for two. The Murder Mystery dinner package can be performed at
other days / times for business groups, reunions, employee parties and other groups.
Please note: Subject to sufficient parties scheduling to perform Murder
Mystery. Reservations required no later than the first Saturday of every month (one week
prior).
Our Neighborhood:
Wichita has several recognized areas and neighborhoods. The downtown area is generally considered to be east of the Arkansas River, west of Washington Street, north of Kellogg and south of 13th Street. The downtown area contains landmarks such as Century II, the Garvey Center, and the Epic Center. Old Town is also part of downtown; this 2-3 square mile area is home to a cluster of night clubs, bars, restaurants, a movie theater, shops, and apartments and condominiums, many of which make use of historical warehouse-type spaces.
