Our contemporary Inn overlooks the Red Lick Valley and is nestled in the
knob country surrounding Berea, Ky. The
Inn features a large south facing front porch with a beautiful vista
of East and West Pinnacle and Pilot Knob, a scene familiar to all Berea
College alumni who have hiked the Pinnacles. The location
combines the small-town charm of Berea, the folk art capital of Kentucky,
with ready accessibility to outdoor activities and the mountains, and the convenience of a
short drive to downtown Lexington, and the horse country of the Bluegrass.
The Pinnacle View Inn is a modern architectural delight, designed and constructed in 2006 using natural and recycled materials from local suppliers. The Inn is a certified “five star energy home” with a commitment to “a totally green living environment”, ranging from the use of geo-thermal heat to all electric appliances, to supplying locally grown organic foods and providing guests with natural products. We are a smoke-free setting where guests enjoy our eco-friendly environment with our utilization of “green lodging” initiatives that may encourage you to experience your own “green behaviors”!
The Inn is not simply an exceptionally pleasant place to stay; there is a special enchanting ambience that keeps guests returning again and again.

Fresh flowers, top quality linens, and amenities by Gilchrist & Soames (eco-friendly products) are enjoyed by all the guest rooms. A small refrigerator, loaded with soft drinks and juices, and healthy snacks can be found in the commons area. There is also a Kurig coffee maker in each room as well as a wide selection of gourmet coffees, teas and cocoas. Enjoy a cup of afternoon tea in our spacious living room, or on the sunny front porch.

Wake up to the aroma of freshly baked breads, fresh squeezed orange juice, and enjoy a formal breakfast served in the contemporary dining room. The Pinnacle View Inn
serves as a quiet respite from the rest of the world. The
Inn houses an eclectic collection of museum quality fork art with
pottery, wood carvings and paintings as well as American Indian objects. The well-stocked
library invites reading and relaxation, though high-speed Internet is available as well!
The upstairs Library is everyone’s favorite room, with a soft couch and chairs to
relax and read.
In addition to our extraordinary rooms and baths, Pinnacle
View Inn has a lovely garden, a dramatic front living area and an
upstairs sitting area for your enjoyment. We provide: high-speed and Wi-Fi
Internet access, electronics charging and iPod docking stations, complimentary beverages
upon arrival, homemade refreshments throughout your stay, eco-friendly
amenities, superior linens, comfy chairs and beds, and a unique style inspired by travels

Outside, guests may enjoy taking a hike through the woods or down to the creek, or maybe
just a leisurely stroll through the herb garden. You can easily take day trips to the Kentucky
Horse Park, tour horse farms, visit a winery, or visit other attractions. From
our inn you can have a short drive to all of Berea’s unique shops
and restaurants including the Boone Tavern. The Kentucky Artisans Center, the
Berea College Log House, and the Old Town area of Berea are just a few of the
locations within short driving distance of the inn.
