Our Neighborhood
In existence for over 150 years, this neighborhood has many fine examples
of various types of architecture from the period, single/double shotgun houses, French,
Creole cottages, Greek Revival, and Victorian.
There has been a resurgence of renovation and restoration in the area. You will
enjoy walking to the French Quarter and seeing how new paint has brought
life to a very bohemian collection of houses, shops, restaurants and music clubs.
We're located in the Historic Faubourg Marigny area of old New
Orleans and just 5 blocks from the French Quarter.
Several great restaurants and bars are within walking distance of the house.
