The spacious guestrooms each have a private entrance and bath and each are furnished with antiques and a queen-size bed.

One of the highlights of staying at the Marigny Manor House B&B is the fine New Orleans style food served each day at breakfast.

This is wonderful Southern cooking at its best. We shop weekly at farmers markets, local bakeries, and specialty stores to select the finest local Louisiana ingredients to serve to our guests.

Freshly brewed French dark roast coffee and imported teas are available to early risers who often choose to read the paper on the front porch or in the courtyard.

During the week, we serve an expanded complimentary Continental Breakfast complete with an assortment of fresh fruit, homemade cherry-cranberry granola, French pistolettes, croissants, pastries, cheeses, as well as quiche or fritata.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, house guests are presented with a full, free Deluxe Southern Breakfast featuring a selection cheese grits, hash browns, sausage, bacon, egg dishes, upside-down pancakes and buttermilk biscuits.

After a busy day touring the French Quarter, relax on our front porch,
upstairs balcony or lush tropical courtyard.

Our Neighborhood

In existence for over 150 years, this neighborhood has many fine examples of various types of architecture from the period, single/double shotgun houses, French, Creole cottages, Greek Revival, and Victorian. There has been a resurgence of renovation and restoration in the area.  You will enjoy walking to the French Quarter and seeing how new paint has brought life to a very bohemian collection of houses, shops, restaurants and music clubs.

The Marigny Manor House is situated just steps away from the French Quarter, walking distance to the Riverside Streetcar and mere blocks Frenchman Street Music District. It’s an easy stroll from this New Orleans B&B to world-class music venues and restaurants, plus shopping in the wonderful antique shops and art galleries along Royal Street.

Rates and Policies
  • Quoted rates are based on single or double occupancy. The Red Room, Balcony Room, and Courtyard room can handle an extra person or two if necessary. The City of New Orleans nightly room tax of $.50 will be added to the daily room rate.
  • An extra charge is $50 per person during standard and summer periods and $89 a night during special event periods.
  • Minimum Stay Requirements:
    High Season: 3 nights
    Low Season: 2 Nights
    Special Events*: 4 nights
    * Special Event Periods: Holidays, Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, French Quarter Festival, Essence Festival, Southern Decadence, Halloween, New Years/Bowl Games, and Championship Games.
  • Rates may be lower during certain slow times.
  • Other minimum-stay requirements may apply for special events.
  • A deposit of 25 % of the total stay will be charged at time of reservation. The balance due will be charged 60 days prior to arrival date. No cancellations or refunds after the final payment.
  • A cancellation up to 14 days prior to check-in date will receive a deposit refund less a $39.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations 72 hours or less prior to check-in date will be charged for the full reservation. No credit for late arrival or early departures.
  • If you cancel this reservation up to 60 days prior to your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded minus a $39 cancellation fee. There are no refunds for cancellations after 60 days prior to your arrival date unless we are able to re-book the room. Guests are responsible for the entire reservation. No credit for late arrival or early departures under any circumstances
  • Check-in Time: 4 p.m.; Check-out Time: 11 a.m.
  • Children over 12 years old are welcome.
  • Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas only
  • No pets (NOTICE: Owner has 2 cats on the property)
