Watch hummingbirds & songbirds from swings in the gardens or shorebirds from the hammock on the dock.

The Inn is located near the Cajun village of Jean Lafitte, seven miles from the Barataria Unit of Jean Lafitte National Park. You reach us
by crossing the Mississippi River at New Orleans on Highway 90-Business then driving down Highway 45.

The two West Indies style plantation houses in the compound are on over six acres of landscaped grounds. They overlook one of the
many waterways in South Louisiana.

Stay with us and have fun on swamp tours, trawling for shrimp (seasonal), tour the bayous by seaplane, fishing for redfish and trout, taking a birding and dolphin watching cruise down to Grand Isle, canoeing or hiking through the Jean Lafitte National Park or enjoying a real Cajun Fais Do Do every Sunday afternoon. All this and wonderful seafood restaurants make a stay at Victoria Inn and Gardens a perfect addition to your Louisiana vacation.

As a little lagniappe, we serve complementary drinks on arrival. Enjoy them on the gallery, out on our private pier or strolling through the gardens.

Each morning a superb 3 course breakfast is graciously served on antique china complete with flowers fresh from our gardens.

All rooms are uniquely furnished with private baths, Cable  Color TVs and Air Conditioning.

Upscale amenities include ceiling fans, monogrammed robes, phones with voice mail and data lines in all rooms. Suites have VCRs, inroom coffee makers and larger bathrooms with either oversize garden tubs or Jacuzzi.
