On Marblehead Neck, with ocean and harbor views from every room, casual elegance welcomes our guests.

Sun-drenched and comfort-filled suites greet you in this old New England inn which has been totally restored with cherry floors, Shaker furniture, private baths and original paintings.

Each of our suites offer a four-poster queen-sized bed, private bath and Victorian artifacts.

The rooms are lovely, sun-drenched spaces with tasteful decor, and the stellar attraction is an apartment suite for five with access to a rooftop deck offering vistas of the ocean and Marblehead.

Lighthouse Suite/Apartment - $225/$250* per night 
This multi-level suite features accommodations for five with a sofa bed in the living room area and a four-poster, queen-sized bed in the upstairs bedroom. It offers a private entrance with deck, kitchen, bath, and a roof deck with spectacular ocean and harbor views. Lawn furniture, barbecue, and hammock add to the enjoyment of the views and gardens.
Seabreeze Suite - $170/$195* per night 
This airy two-room suite features ocean views and rooms are furnished with antiques and Shaker-style furniture. The suite includes private bath, queen-sized four-poster bed, and a sofa and day bed in the adjoining sitting room.
Library Suite - $140/$165* per night
This cozy book-lined room features Victorian artifacts with a queen-sized bed and private bath.

* High Season rates apply to July and August, plus weekends in Jun, Sep and Oct.

The Harbor Room is our casual sitting room for guests to use for conversation, listening to music, enjoying our fireplace on a chilly evening or making selections from our video library.  Furnished with a charming blend of hand-crafted furniture and antiques.

Policies
  • The Seagull Inn offers bicycling, kayaking, croquet, a nearby beach and a film library. In addition, all suites offer the following amenities: TV/VCR, telephone, refrigerator, coffee-maker, complimentary water and soft drinks, and air-conditioning.
  • Reservations are always welcome and are often advisable, especially during the summer season. Certain weekends and holidays may require a two-night minimum.
  • Cancellations less than two weeks prior to your visit will result in a charge for one night.
  • Check-in time is 2:00 p.m., or a time arranged at your convenience.
  • MasterCard and Visa are accepted.
  • The Seagull Inn is smoke free
  • Please be aware that we charge an additional $25 per person for our suites which have accomodations for more than two people.

    * From June 1 through October 31, there is an extra $25 per room per night on weekends.
