Wood Duck Inn, a romantically restored 1890 Victorian, overlooks Dogwood Harbor, home of the last fleet of antique Skipjack sailing vessels in North America.
Tucked away in a quaint waterman's village, there's a place where time stands still. Originally designed in 1890 as a boarding house during the heyday of the steamboat the inn later functioned as a bordello and more recently as a waterman's family residence. A Victorian bed and breakfast you will find the perfect mix of comfort, charm and elegance. The Inn is furnished with antiques, family heirlooms and original artwork presented by local artist, Maureen Bannon.

The bed and breakfast is secluded and quiet. Fish for trout, striped bass, grouper, croaker, spot, mackerel, and crabs. Boat and motor rentals are available. Water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, trophy fishing, waterskiing, and canoeing. Nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, and hunting.
You can do as little or as much as you desire. Relax with a cool drink on the veranda and watch the boats go by or spend a winter day curled up by the fire with a good book. |

Weather permitting our outside table is available with a wonderful view of Dogwood Harbor. Inn guests have exclusive reservations for dinner in our dining room. We are happy with our style of food typically American with influences from Europe and Asia. As we continue to perfect our cuisine we place enormous emphasis on acquiring the best ingredients for our recipes. Whether it happens to be fresh local farm produce, American game, seafood or just a local catch. We bring you flavors and presentations that far exceed your expectations. ENJOY

Tilghman Island, only three square miles, is easily accessible yet remote enough to properly stem the tide of everyday cares. When you cross over the drawbridge you'll be greeted by the nineteenth century charm of a true waterman's village. You can stroll to several shops and restaurants on the Island.
