The Tropical Retreat |
More than spacious, the Tropical retreat encompasses the whole third floor. A particular favorite of our repeat guests, the tropical decor will transport you to an island retreat of breezy palms and tree tops views. O Say can you see the Francis Scott Key Bridge? It is only 27 miles away and the panoramic scene from the deck will take your breath away. The queen-sized bed and decor are hand made natural wicker for a light airy feeling. A ceiling fan and display of tropical plants and birds will complete your trip to your private hide away. Rise to spectacular sunny views through a half circle window that lets you know the day has begun. Just the ticket for a special get away, you can watch the boats pass buy or view the horizon to the west from our largest deck and a sunset to calm your soul.

The Tuscany |
Spacious, bright and airy with huge windows for a breathtaking view of the Bay, the Tuscany has a comfortable blend of old world charm and casual elegance. It is one of the Old Gratitude’s largest individual rooms, the original master suite. Rise to the brilliant views of the Bay from the queen-sized mahogany sleigh bed that begs you to stay under the covers just a moment longer. Furnished in the luxurious Italian manor tradition, the Tuscany has a fireplace, TV armoire with 2 comfortable chairs and a beautifully decorated bathroom with an oversized shower. In the afternoon you can relax in a comfortable lounge chair on you own spacious private deck and enjoy a spectacular view of the Bay and a Gratitude sunset to die for.

The Orient Escape |
More than just an escape, this large waterfront room is the ultimate in
relaxation and indulgence. It has a wonderful combination of Far Eastern and modern decor.
the Orient Escape is in a separate building than the inn and offers a
wonderful private retreat. The room has a queen-sized platform bed with an antique hand
carved headboard from Shanghai and large comfortable lounge chair for reading and
relaxing. The bright skylights will fill your morning with an extra jolt of sunshine as
you rise to the panoramic views of the Bay. By evening you can relax on your private
shaded deck or enjoy the last rays of the day from the large champagne Jacuzzi bathtub
overlooking the water. The Orient Escape is truly a private paradise with unparalleled views of the bay. Relax, renew and revive your spirit and soul in this very special retreat on the Chesapeake Bay.

The Parisian |
The Parisian provides more than a place to sleep, it is a place to relax
and renew. The luxurious white mahogany bed will transport you to an elegant, Parisian
villa with it’s quiet soft colored decor as you gaze at the Bay from your private
deck. This elegant room boasts a queen sized poster bed with matching posh furnishings.
The private bath includes a hand painted vanity sink and an oversized shower. Rise and shine to the brilliant views of the Chesapeake Bay as the morning sun begins the day or wait until the evening when the Gratitude House promises a sunset from you deck that the Parisians never imagined.

Room rates apply to our peak season of April 14th through October 31st, except for special events.

| Reservations: Please tell us when you would like to visit, or check our on-line availability schedule above and request a room. Weekend reservations require a two-night minimum, longer for special events. Guest charges are payable on check in and require a credit card guarantee in advance. Deposits are required for extended stays. We accept all major credit cards. Rates are for double occupancy and are subject to state and local taxes. |
| Arriving by Boat: For those of you wishing to arrive by water, transit boat slips are available next door at Gratitude Marina. |
| Special Occasions: We can arrange a beautiful bouquet, champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries or a colorful fruit basket. Let us know what you have in mind. We will do our best to accommodate your special occasion. If you need restaurant recommendations or reservations, please let us know ahead of time so your special surprise can be ready when you arrive. |
