A classic village inn on the Maine Coast, Blue Harbor House welcomes guests to relax in a restored 1810 Cape. The beautiful village of Camden, renowned for its spectacular setting where the mountains meet the sea, is just outside the door |
Our classic New England Cape was built in 1810, and today its historic charms blend perfectly with modern comforts. Choose to stay in one of our guest rooms, or opt for the added luxury of one of the suites, with large sitting area, gas fireplace, and big soak tub. The suites in the carriage house also have outside entrances.
If you're ready to shop till you drop, the Camden area is equal to the challenge. The harborfront streets are lined with intriguing shops selling many made-in-Maine crafts as well as treasures from around the world. You'll find fine clothing, one-of-a-kind jewelry, handsome home accessories, and special keepsakes to remind you of your visit. You can also buy work directly from some artisans in their studios. There are antiques shops, flea markets, and great country auctions, too.
Whether you're planning an overnight, a longer visit, or a special romantic weekend, we'll do everything we can to help make your stay truly memorable
The inn's inviting guest rooms are bright with country antiques, hand-fashioned quilts, canopy beds and whirlpool baths. After a good night's sleep, you'll greet the morning as you enjoy a sumptuous breakfast on the sun porch. |
