Sight Seeing
No trip to this area is complete without visiting the Height Of Land. This is a breathtaking lookout where you can view some of the area lakes and mountains. This is also a great place to view a sunset, or the fall foliage. Moose can often be seen along Route 17 on the way to Height of Land.
Step Falls, Screw Auger Falls, Mother Walker, Trails to Moose Cave and Jail:
Grafton Notch State Park, 20 miles north on Route 26, off Route 2 in Newry. Scenic drive, hiking, picnicking, and swimming. Hike to Table Rock - look for information signs in the park.Sunday
