Complimentary gourmet breakfasts are served each morning in the ocean view conservatory.

The Inn at Sunrise Point serves a sumptuous, three course breakfast to guests each morning in the ocean-facing conservatory and dining room. Full breakfast service is available between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., and coffee and tea are available from 7:00 a.m. and throughout the day. Start your morning with Maine roasted Carrabassett coffee or a wide array of teas. Then choose a favorite from our freshly baked breads, scones and muffins. Our Camden Maine Inn’s own signature granola is always available, as are other cereals, plus yogurt.

Each breakfast includes a fruit course, with the Inn featuring local farm grown fruits such as blueberries and strawberries in season. The main course varies day to day but guest favorites include poached eggs with prosciutto, roasted asparagus and chive oil; Belgian waffles with warm peach compote and maple glazed bacon; locally smoked salmon and goat cheese omelets; and whole wheat pancakes topped with wild Maine blueberries or raspberries.

In the afternoon, refreshments at our romantic Maine getaway always include freshly baked cookies, house made “Chex Mix”, assorted nuts, and fruits. And there is usually a bowl of chocolates lurking around the corner, just waiting for you to walk by. The Inn has a full liquor license and is happy to serve you the wine or cocktail of your choice. Complimentary soft drinks and bottled water are available in all guest refrigerators.

Our Amenities

Each room at our coastal Maine Inn includes a flat screen TV, DVD, iPod dock/radio/CD player, free wireless access (WiFi), alarm clock, mini refrigerator, complimentary bottled water and soft drinks, room safe, iron and ironing board, plush robes, hairdryer, Turkish towels, fine bed linens, down comforters and pillows, and Gilchrest and Soames toiletries. Cottages also include microwaves, coffee makers and wet bars, and all guest rooms and cottages are air conditioned.

If you need a two bedroom suite, the Rachel Carson Cottage and the Fitz Henry Lane Cottage can be connected through a housekeeping hallway, or the Wyeth Suite offers the Wyeth Loft plus a second bedroom.

Policies
  • Check-in time is from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., or by prior arrangement.
  • Check-out time is 11 a.m.
  • Reservations are confirmed upon inn's receipt of deposit.
  • The inn is strictly a non-smoking property. Any violation of this policy will result in cleaning fees equal to a minimum of one night's stay. Smokers who render a room unacceptable for incoming guests must compensate the inn for lost revenue.
  • Alcoholic beverages not purchased from the inn (under the inn's state liquor license and liability insurance) may not be consumed outside of the privacy of your own guest room per state law.
  • All rooms and cottages are for 2 persons only (except the Russo & Carson Cottages).
  • A one night deposit or 50 percent of the total reservation (whichever is greater) is required when making a reservation.
  • As we are a small inn, cancellations affect us greatly. If you find it necessary to cancel or change your reservation, please call 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival, in which case your deposit will be refunded less a $100.00 service charge per room. Please also note that shortening your stay is considered a cancellation. For cancellations within 30 days, the guest is responsible for the full value of the reservation, less any value the inn is able to recoup by re-renting the room. As a condition of your reservation and immediately upon processing your deposit you and your party staying with you agree that your credit card on file or another card acceptable to the Inn at Sunrise Point will be immediately charged at time of cancellation for the balance of your stay. No refunds for rooms not re-rented.
  • In the unlikely event that you need to cancel for any reason we recommend that you consider travel insurance. We have included a link to TravelEx.com, travel protection for your convenience. You will need to enter the location number 19-0012 if you wish to purchase this online.
  • All rates assume double occupancy and include breakfast served in the Main House.
  • Rates are subject to lodging tax (7%) and service charge (5%).
  • Reservations are non-transferable and the proprietors/innkeepers reserve the right to refuse reservations or service.
  • We accept most major credit cards.
  • The inn is appropriate for children age 12 and older.
  • A two-night minimum stay is required from Memorial Day through Columbus Day, except when a single night vacancy occurs.
  • Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets.
