We Start Your Day With A Hearty North Woods Breakfast.....

A day at the lodge starts with a hearty North Woods breakfast to prepare you for an active day. Eat in the dining room overlooking the lake or on the deck when weather permits. Join us any time between 8:00am and 9:00am at a private table for two of your choice.

First course consists of coffee, a selection of juices and teas, yogurts or fruit smoothies, our own cereal, fresh breads, and always a large fresh fruit tray. Enjoy a basket of fresh baked pastries including strudel, peach muffins, scones, cinnamon rolls, and banana breads.

If you love your coffee, let us know and a hot pot can be delivered to your room from 7:00 to 8:30 or make your own in your room. We try to accommodate dietary restrictions so please let us know.

Dine While Enjoying Our Panoramic View

Floor to ceiling windows bring a panoramic view of Moosehead Lake and surrounding mountains inside while you enjoy Up North Cuisine, a source of comfort – hot, hearty and filling. Feast on the best that nature offers, from fresh Maine seafood, warm mixed berry cobblers with vanilla ice cream, locally grown buffalo, Maine crab cakes, stuffed trout and much more. Everything is Ala Carte – so the choices are yours. Enjoy a cocktail, our signature Mooseopolitan™ Martini from our martini menu or treat yourself to a selection from our excellent wine list. Only the Lodge at Moosehead Lake combines the view, menu, decor and relaxed atmosphere that you come to the North woods to experience. Reserve a seating from 6:00 to 8:30 on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening, Mid-June through Mid-October. Patio/deck dining also available (weather permitting). Open New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day evening.

Rates and Policies

All occupancy rates are subject to change
* State and local taxes may apply
* Accommodations: 5 Rooms, 4 Suites (single or double occupancy (plus tax)
$195.00 to $680.00 per night plus tax
* The rate for each additional person is $ 35.00
  • Minimum stay required (Two-night minimum on weekends and three-night minimum over a holiday)
  • Smoking is not allowed
  • Limited accommodations for guest pets (Please call for our pet policy)
  • Limitations on children staying
  • No childcare is provided
  • Consumption of alcohol is permitted (Outside alcohol not allowed on premise)
  • Deposit amount required (50% of the total stay, with a minimum of 1 night.)
  • Closed: Closed in April
  • Check in time is 3:00 - 6:00 pm and Check out time is 11:00 am
  • Cancellations:
    21 days or more before arrival, a refund of the deposit less $50.00 administration fee per room will be credited directly to the guest's credit card. Less than 21 days before arrival, deposit will for forfeited. For cancellations within 48 hours of arrival or early departures, the deposit is forfeited and if we are unable to resell unused nights, the credit card will be charged for the full amount of the reservation.
