The Newcastle Inn is a Coastal Maine Country Inn overlooking the wonderful harbor at Damariscotta. The Inn is centrally located in Mid-Coast Maine, only a short distance to Freeport, Boothbay Harbor, Camden, Pemaquid Point, Monhegan Island, and even Bar Harbor. We are perfect for a getaway or a longer vacation.
Each of our bedchambers is uniquely furnished, yet all reflect our commitment to providing you with immaculate accommodations and pleasing decor. Some of the inn's fifteen rooms and suites have four-poster or canopy beds, while others have inviting sitting areas or fireplaces, and all have private baths. |

You'll want to take time to savor The Newcastle Inn. Relax in a big wing chair in the living room or settle in by the fire with a good book. Spend an hour or two on the glassed-in porch, or while away a warm afternoon outside on the lawn in one of the irresistible Adirondack chairs.
In the morning, you'll awaken to a traditional multi-course breakfast, guaranteed to stand you in good stead for the day's activities.
We always have coffee or tea waiting for you in the afternoon. For gourmet dining, we offer our award-winning restaurant, Lupines, which features local meats and produce and the freshest local seafood and lobsters available. We specialize in French Cuisine, and have an extensive wine list, including wines from around the World.
The Newcastle Inn has been recently selected as one of the 12 "Romantic Hideaways" for 2001 by The Discerning Traveler.
In December, 2000, Lupines was awarded 4 1/2 stars by the Maine Sunday Telegram.

Weddings with up to 34 guests are one of our specialties. The Newcastle Inn is featured in numerous country inn and bed and breakfast guidebooks and is proud to have been selected for The Select Registry by the Select Registry/Independent Innkeepers' Association.

~Our Special Packages~
Honeymoon/Anniversary Package
Available any two consecutive weekday or weekend nights. This package includes two room
nights at the Inn, a bottle of champagne chilling in your room on arrival along with a bud
vase with a single flower (a dozen red roses or other flower arrangements are available at
additional cost), breakfast each day, one 4-course dinner for two at the Inn on your
choice of evenings (drinks are not included), and all taxes and gratuities with respect to
the foregoing. All rooms are subject to availability and prior reservations are required.
Remember that three of our rooms come complete with two-person jacuzzis, or soaking tubs,
which are perfect for this celebration!
Rates: $570 to $775. All prices are for double occupancy, depending on
the room selected, and are subject to availability.
Getaway Package
This is a wonderful quick getaway from the stresses of work or family. Available any two
consecutive weekday or weekend nights. This package includes two room nights at the Inn, a
split of champagne chilling in your room on arrival, breakfast each day, one 4-course
dinner for two at the Inn on your choice of evenings (drinks are not included), and all
taxes and gratuities with respect to the foregoing. All rooms are subject to availability
and prior reservations are required.
Rates: $535 to $755. All prices are for double occupancy, depending on
the room selected, and are subject to availability.
