Rockmere Lodge is nestled on the ocean in quaint Ogunquit,
Maine midway along the famous Marginal Way, bordering the ocean with its
many beautiful white beaches and rocky coast. Ogunquit is near two fine golf
courses, and many art galleries. A small town
designed for foot traffic, most of Ogunquit's shops, eateries and beaches are
within a short walk from Rockmere Lodge. Artists and actors (to the Ogunquit
Playhouse) are drawn to both Ogunquit and Rockmere Lodge. When you visit us you will see
why visitors to call it "the beautiful place by the sea".
Built in the grand old style of the Maine shingled cottage, the accommodations at Rockmere
Lodge consists of eight rooms, all with private baths, cable TV
and paddle fans. We provide beach towels, chairs and umbrellas for your
sunbathing pleasure on the beach which is just a short walk away. Iced tea or lemonade to

gold. Room #2, The Alf-Fred On the second floor, marble topped Victorian double bed bedroom set, nice ocean views, decorated in hunter green and gold. Room #3, The Barbara-Sue On the second floor, four poster queen bed, decorated in blue, yellow and white. Room #4, The Ashley-Mae On the second floor, queen size white washed bedroom set, sofa sitting area overlooking the ocean, decorated with a flower garden wall covering. Room #5, The Anna-Marie On the Second floor, queen size wrought iron bed, sitting area, corner room with great ocean views from bed, sitting area and window seat, decorated in a violet and ivy theme. Room #6, The Victoria-Ruth On the third floor, Victorian Queen bed, sofa sitting area, corner room with great ocean views from bed and sitting area, decorated in a refreshing pink and mauve sea roses theme. Room #7, The Drudy On the third floor, queen size brass and white iron bed, sitting area overlooking the ocean, decorated with hand painted artwork by a former folk artist/owner, has a very Victorian country feeling. Room #8, The Judy-Lind On the ground floor at the end of the wrap around porch overlooking ocean, private outside entrance, double bed, decorated in in a nautical theme. |
