The Country Hermitage offers a wide range of possibilities for your most romantic getaway. This Victorian style farmhouse was built in 1883 by the John Pulcipher Family.  Restoration began in early 1999; a large addition was added to accommodate a beautiful and modern kitchen and every detail of the farmhouse has been lovingly restored. We pride ourselves on cleanliness and superior service

A full service, gourmet breakfast is prepared for you daily, from 8 - 10 am. Your breakfast is served, in our formal dinning room, or in the quaint cafe style plaza. We are happy, to accommodate any special dietary needs you may have, please advise us before arrival.

The Country Hermitage Bed & Breakfast is not only a first-rate inn in a splendid country setting but also a fantastic venue for events of all types. Weddings, Receptions, Rehearsal Dinners, Corporate parties, or Family Reunions; the Country Hermitage is pleased to extend an invitation.

Rates and Policies
  • Rates:
    $145 - $208
  • Reservations:
    The Bed & Breakfast is open, year around, with a two night minimum stay, on in-season weekends, and three night minimum stay, on Holiday weekends. All reservations, require a one night's deposit, or a credit card, to guarantee a reservation. We accept all major credit cards, or good old-fashioned cash.
  • Cancellations:
    We require 14 days advance notice for any cancellations, if you are within the 14 day cancellation period, and can not reschedule your reservation, you will be charged for one nights stay if we are unable to re-book the room.
  • Check In: 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
  • Check Out: 11:00 am
    * Possible exceptions, if requested, in advance
    You will be asked when making reservations about your planned time, of arrival. We ask this, only so that we can plan our day as we try to greet each, and every guest, no matter what time they arrive. We would appreciate, a call if your estimated time of arrival changes.
  • Doors are locked: 10:00 pm - 7:00am
    * Guests will be given an entry code, to access the door after it is locked
  • Consideration:
    The hours between 11:00 p.m. till 7:00 a.m. are quiet hours, so that we can all get our rest. For the safety, and comfort of all our guests, smoking is not permitted. Children over the age of 12, are welcome. Not suitable for young babies, or children. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets.
