1902-8 Stained Glass Manor - Oak Hall, Inc. is a turn of the century mansion, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

It was built as the home of Fannie Vick Willis Johnson, Vicksburg's greatest individual philanthropist, and owner of the famous Panther Burn Plantation. (She is a direct descendant of Burwell Vick-the first Vick to Vicksburg - 1812.)

As a family-oriented B&B, furnishings range from rice canopy and Victorian king-sized beds to a baby's crib.

Our Guest Rooms

The Washington room, pictured above, The Washington has a custom king sized rice canopy bed, desk and chest of drawers that belonged to my grandmother, a Civil War Chest, three stained glass windows, access to a sleeping porch, a romantic working fireplace, and a private bath.

The Adams room  also has a custom king sized rice canopy bed, but the room is a white and burgundy decor. The morning light through the three stained glass east windows in these rooms make awakening dazzling and sumptuous. The room has access to a sleeping porch and a romantic working fireplace.

The Jefferson room  is Victorian in Navy blue
and gold with a fireplace. As it is the largest
bedroom, it bears the name of our greatest
President. These first three rooms are larger
than most suites elsewhere.

The Polk room is a whimsical room with two sitting areas, bookcases, a double bed, two twin beds, and a private bath, named for the last President when our combatants of the Civil War last fought side by side.

The Carriage House (Circa. 1885) has a private, separate structure - is ideal for that private Honeymoon, a romantic getaway, or an extended stay. It has a small kitchen and bath, sitting and dining areas (circa. 1920's decor with Nagel prints), and a large bedroom and sauna.

Policies

• $20 per night on each person above double occupancy (roll-away & etc.)
• There is a flat $30 fee on canceled reservations, late checkout (after 10:00 a.m.), and late check in (after 9:00 p.m.), unless prior arrangements have been made.
• Local & state taxes not included
• Deposit: A minimum non-refundable deposit of one night's stay is required in advance.
• Cancellation Policy:
  It is extremely important should your plans change that you cancel your reservations at least two weeks prior to your scheduled arrival, especially if you made your reservation through our reservation service. There is a flat $30 cancellation fee.
• Prior to the two weeks we will refund the total charge, less the $30 cancellation fee. If your reservation was through the service, there is no refund after two weeks prior to scheduled arrival.
• If you made the reservation yourself:
  (1) From two weeks to one week (7) days prior to scheduled arrival, we will refund 50% of the charges after the $30 cancellation fee.
  (2) One week (7 days) or less prior to arrival there are no refunds. Unless otherwise agreed upon arrival time is 4:00 p.m. on the scheduled date.
• Checkout is 10:00 a.m. There is a flat $30 charge for early check-in, check-in after 9:00 p.m., or late checkout if prior arrangements have not been made.
