Enter the Benjamin W. Best Country Inn and Carriage House where yesteryear's country farmhouse charm awaits you and the ordinary of years gone by become extraordinary. This National Registry Historic Property (circa 1845-50) is situated in rural Greene County, North Carolina on a working farm, conveniently located in the "hub" of Eastern North Carolina.
We take pleasure in serving as your host for weddings, receptions, luncheons, retreats, or family reunions. Our expansive grounds lend our facility to large groups and our country charm provides great atmosphere to small parties. We can provide tents and other equipment as well as catering. A few hundred yards behind the house we have a lake for your enjoyment and recreation. We do offer consultation on every event or if you wish, you may do your planning entirely. We have information about local caterers, rental companies and entertainment.
