Innkeepers Werner, born in Salzburg Austria, and Patricia, born in the Appalachian mountains, finally found their own piece of heaven nestled in the Hickory Nut Gorge area. Traveling for years and looking for a combination of their homelands they found Lake Lure to be that magical place |
Gaestehaus Salzburg was built in the style of the border regions of the Alpines and much decorating is with natural woods. Because of their enthusiasm for the exquisite landscape, they paid special attention to conserving trees and wild flowers throughout the property, thus creating walking paths for their guests to enjoy.
Come and relax and enjoy nature at its finest where mountains and blue waters meet! Enjoy the private heavily wooded rolling hillside with many native flowering trees and plants, offering sanctuary and inner peace after a long day of sightseeing. An abundance of colorful birds will awake you in the morning with their cheerful songs and serenade you at night into peaceful sleep.
