Master carpenter Almeron King built this gracious 1885 Queen Anne Victorian Inn as his family home. King's skill and imagination abound. The hand crafted chestnut moldings and elaborately carved fireplace mantles reflect a strong Eastlake influence. The whimsical roofline, complete with cupola and balcony, soars skyward.
The charm and excitement, museums and race tracks, specialty shops and restaurants of Saratoga are an easy walk from the Westchester House. After a busy day sampling the delights of Saratoga, relax on the wrap around porch, in the garden or in the parlours and enjoy a refreshing glass of lemonade.
Each elegantly appointed bedroom combines antique furnishings with up-to-date comforts. You will find firm mattresses, king and queen size beds, luxury linens, tiled baths, ceiling fans, air conditioning, chocolates and direct dial telephones with voice mail and data ports. |
