One of Cape May's only bed and breakfast inns originally built as a guest house (way back in 1882, before such things were popular).

Designed to accommodate the fashionable Victorian on seaside holiday, you'll find an unexpected spaciousness within. 

We're a very short block to the beach and within easy walking distance to the wonderful restaurants and shops of Victorian Cape May.

Admire our grand entrance hall, crowned with a burnished mirror.

Follow our soaring spiral staircase leading to enchanting guest chambers... each with private bath, period furnishings, ceiling fan, and air conditioning.

During the cooler months, revive your spirits over afternoon tea served on fine Czech china. Indulge your sweet tooth with a French Sugar Fan, Lemon Cheesecake Bar, or a nibble of a Neapolitan. Afternoon refreshment in the lazy summertime features a more casual assortment of sweet "finger foods" and chilly pitchers of choice iced tea.

Complimentary on-site parking is also available during your stay. 

Policies
  • Minimum stay required (Two to four night weekend/holiday minimum)
  • Smoking is not allowed
  • We cannot accommodate guest pets
  • Limitations on children staying (Children over 10 years old)
  • No childcare is provided
  • Consumption of alcohol is permitted
  • Deposit amount required (50% deposit due within 7 days of booking for stays of 2+ nights)
  • Closed: January through March
  • Check in time is 2:00-8:00pm and Check out time is 11:00am
  • Cancellations:
    14-day advance notice required for deposit refund; $20 service charge is applied.

The Mooring is open from mid-April through mid-November.....
