Because the Sea Crest is our home, the atmosphere is easy and
inviting. The extensive collection of French and English antiques and family heirlooms was
assembled as a labor of love. Books and games stand ready to provide a stimulating
environment. Also, you'll find a selection of menus from the best local restaurants where
we will be happy to make reservations for you.
The murmur of the surf lulls you to sleep in your bed dressed in
billowy starched linens of fine Egyptian cotton, French Damask and Belgian lace.
Exquisitely comfortable beds and deluxe bath amenities marry today's comfort with
yesterday's elegance.
A stay at Sea Crest by the Sea is like visiting the elegant home
of a favorite relative. But, at heart, we are a fantasy for grown-ups. So leave the
children at home, and treat yourself. You deserve it!

On arrival you hear soft classical music. Fresh flowers await
you in your room. The merriment begins with a few tunes on the player piano at afternoon
tea. Your bountiful gourmet breakfast begins at the civilized hour of nine a.m. Candlelit
in winter, the antique French sideboard is laden with a sumptuous offering that is both
healthy and delicious, including a selection of fresh-from-the-oven buttermilk scones and
muffins, fresh fruit, Sea Crest granola, our own special blend of full-bodied,
caffeine-reduced coffee, and a wide array of teas. A variety of settings from the family
collection of china, crystal and silver complement the table and provide a delightful
backdrop for a convivial start to the day.
The Sea Crest is a half-block from a quiet beach and the
inviting boardwalk. As you start the day's adventures, a stable of bicycles is provided
for your pleasure. Back at the inn, play croquet on the lawn or enjoy soft ocean breezes
while relaxing on the veranda.
Each room has a queen size bed, a private bath, TV/VCR & air
conditioning, and most have fireplaces. Rates include breakfast, afternoon tea, on site
parking, bicycles, beach towels, tennis and beach passes, and an atmosphere to sooth your
weary body and soul. Double or single occupancy is the same price.
Children, pets, smoking. If you are on holiday with children,
another establishment may better suit your needs, as we cater to adult romance and
fantasy. No pets, please. You may use ours. Smoking is permitted on the porch.
