The Inn at Crestwood is an unique mountain retreat located in the heart of North Carolina’s High Country, in between Boone and Blowing Rock and just off The Blue Ridge Parkway.
The Moberg family opened their private summer home to the public in March
of 2004 when their youngest son unveiled a grand addition to his late father’s
original design. The result, now known as Crestwood,
is a timeless fusion of both modern and traditional style. Proudly featuring The
Inn, a Spa, Dominic's Table Restaurant and The
Dawg Star Bar.
The Inn at Crestwood
offers a variety of rooms, suites and cottages to satisfy the lodging needs of just about
any guest, group, or special event. Many units have private terraces, expansive mountain
views, fireplaces, and whirlpool baths, while some are also handicap accessible and pet
friendly. We invite you to stay with us and experience southern hospitality at its best.

We have four different
styles of individual rooms at Crestwood. Collectively, our Inn can offer your choice of 15
rooms. Some have private terraces, expansive mountain views, fireplaces, and whirlpool
baths.
Others differ in bed size and vary by
interior design. Each unit is equipped with air conditioning, telephone and wireless
internet services, cable television and access to all amenities. |

We offer four secluded cottages at Crestwood.
They are each spacious enough to comfortably sleep the whole family, and are also perfect
for those who seek extra privacy or an extended stay. Each unit is equipped with air
conditioning, telephone, cable television and access to all amenities.
We offer two individual suites at Crestwood.
Elect to embrace the authentic charm of our antiquated Grandfather
Suite, or consider a more modernized option with our new addition’s Master Suite.
Both units offer a spacious living room area, gas-log fireplace, private terrace and
optional adjoining room. Each unit is equipped with air conditioning, telephone and
wireless internet services, cable television and access to all amenities.

Dominic's Table's
spectacular views will captivate you and your guest, while you enjoy terrace or fireside
dining. Our menu is a creative mix of American fare; while Dominic, hailing from England,
brings a European touch to the "Table".
Dominic's Table is a restaurant of
distinction and will create the ideal atmosphere for intimate dining, special occasions,
executive gatherings and magical weddings. We offer great food, sunsets and unforgettable
experience... views are on the house!
The Dawg Star Bar & Grille
serves a lighter fare and has quickly become a favorite among locals and vacationers
alike. Full ABC permits, flat screen TV’s and spectacular sunsets give our ever
changing spirit specials an appeal unlike any other getaway in town. It’s a great
escape from the every day ordinary, and just a quick scenic drive beyond the beaten path! |
Crestwood provides a picture
perfect setting for your personalized wedding, corporate retreat or special event…no
matter what season you have in mind. From formal rehearsal dinners to casual business
meetings, our multifaceted facility offers a wide range of spatial scenarios to meet the
specific needs of your function. Please review each of the summaries below to determine
the ideal space for your event.
If an outdoor ceremony or event is what you imagine, consider our Lawn for
optimum capacity. This beautifully landscaped area is framed by our spectacular panoramic
view and can accommodate over 125 ceremony guests. The lawn is located in the rear of the
Inn, providing easy access to and from the Terrace, Dining Room, Bar and Library.
Crestwood’s
Terrace and Gazebo are ideal locations for a wedding, social luncheon or sunset cocktail
hour. The Terrace is located in the rear of the Inn and shares the same breathtaking view
seen from the Dining Room and Lawn.
The Gallery at Crestwood
The Gallery at Crestwood
displays an ever changing collection of local artwork. It is located on the third floor of
The Inn, and also overlooks Dominic's Table
Restaurant’s main dining room. It makes a great place to host an
intimate private event or meeting, and is also frequently utilized as a unique dining site
during Dominic's Table Restaurant’s
regular hours of operation. Guests of the Inn are welcome to relax in the Gallery’s
lounging area for reading, card games and other quietly conducted social scenarios, while
also enjoying access to our wireless internet server.

Our central location gives Crestwood
guests the advantage of close proximity to each of the High Country’s
most frequently visited area attractions. The Inn
is located in between Boone and Blowing Rock, just past milepost 292 on
the Blue Ridge Parkway, and within 10 minutes driving distance to almost
every place you want to go.

- Crestwood is a smoke-free facility. A credit card is required to reserve lodging at The Inn at Crestwood. You must be 18 years of age to reserve lodging at The Inn at Crestwood. All gift certificates are subject to availability and also require advanced reservations.
- Guests may check-in as early as 3:00 p.m. on the reserved arrival date and should checkout by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Extended checkout times are granted upon availability and will not exceed 1:00 p.m. on the scheduled checkout day. For your security, the credit card used to confirm the reservation will be required for imprint and authorization at check-in.
- Rates and policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. A 30 day cancellation notice is required on bookings of more than three rooms and for some holiday and special events.
- Rates
Lodging rates are based on double occupancy per night. Rates are subject to a North Carolina sales tax of 6.75%, and an additional Watauga county tax of 6%. Rates are seasonal and subject to change during holidays or special events, and may require minimum stays. Summer and fall rates apply May 1st through October 31st. Winter and spring rates apply November 1st through April 30th. Crestwood may require a two night minimum stay for our guests on weekends May - October.
- Cancellations
In the unlikely event that you must cancel your room reservation with less than 72 hours notice, shorten your stay or check-out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full refund will be made minus a $50 processing fee. You may cancel your room reservation up to 72 hours prior to your arrival date for a full refund.
- Pets
Our Inn will accept well-trained pets in two of the four cottages at Crestwood. Should your pet join you during your stay, a twenty-five dollar ($25) per pet fee is required each night. A two-hundred dollar ($200) credit card authorization is also necessary in order to recover any damages or additional cleaning fees that may occur. All unattended pets must be secured in crates to ensure daily housekeeping service. Pets are accepted on a limited basis and we ask that availability inquirers be made prior to arrival.
- Group Discounts
In order to better serve you, Inn and Spa group incentives are available through our special event and sales department. Please feel free to contact a sales representative today to discus our special private and corporate group discount rates.
- * A $10 per night resort fee will be added to all rooms, payable to the hotel upon checkout.
