Frog's Way is a bright, spacious family home and B&B on 176 acres of land with a pond, miles of trails, and spectacular views.

Located just two miles from downtown Ithaca, we are part of a world renowned cooperative ecological community, EcoVillage at Ithaca.

Our trails, through meadows, woods, wetlands and organic farmlands, are perfect for hiking, running and skiing. Our pond, just two minutes from the B&B, is great for swimming and skating . A sauna by the pond is under construction. We are just minutes away from the rich natural wonders and cultural and educational resources of the Ithaca region.

We also rent out the whole house, the upper floors or the separate lower floor, for up to 10 days at a time, for vacations, special events, and retreats

Frog's Way has 2 bright and cheerful South-facing rooms available for use, which are accessed through a separate entrance, and which share a full bathroom and a full-service kitchenette.

Each room is naturally cool in the summer and has a phone and high speed internet connection The west bedroom has a queen size bed and room for an extra mattress. The east bedroom has a queen size bed and a resource library on natural living.

Guests can eat a full, healthy breakfast in the cozy kitchenette (dining table, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker, coffees, teas, and condiments) or be served breakfast upstairs by us, as they choose.

You can harvest flowers for your room on the community's organic farm

Rates and Policies
  • Our rates vary by season and number of people. Our standard room fee is $85 a night per room, plus 3% tax. Call for specific seasonal, weekly, and house rental rates. We ask for a 50% deposit in advance.
  • Check in times 3:00 PM or later; check out before 12:00 Noon unless prior arrangement is made.
  • Children of all ages are welcome; playgrounds are right on hand.
  • Indoor smoking and pets are not permitted.
  • Please remove shoes upon entering the house, to minimize dirt, mud, and gravel impacts.
  • Because of the pedestrian, family-centered orientation of the neighborhood, we ask that you do not drive in the common area, even though a few construction vehicles are currently allowed in. There are carts available by the carports as you enter the neighborhood for getting your things back and forth to your car. Please observe the 15-MPH speed limit on the road, a chance to change gears and savor this place. Reducing sound levels after 10 is also much appreciated.
