A one-time boardinghouse converted to a luxury inn in 1999, it's in a beautiful 1870 "Second Empire" redbrick building with a terrific wraparound porch; from its antique wicker chairs, you can watch the world go by. Rooms are a good size and nicely appointed, with period antiques, handsome ornamental moldings, and nice details like luxury robes and towels. Several rooms have electric fireplaces, and a number have claw-foot bathtubs. Prices vary not only according to season but bed and room characteristics;
