Located in northern Carroll County, Ohio, about two miles
southeast of Minerva, this 1000 square foot log cabin was built by the King
Family in 1980 and can be yours for a week or a weekend.
Fishing for bass and
bluegill in the 3/4 acre
pond is great fun for kids.
There are two bedrooms (one each with a Queen-size bed and a full-size double) and one bathroom. There is a loft with mattresses on the floor for children. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Cook dinner on the gas grill or in the kitchen if you wish. |

You don't have to hike all the time though. The well-stocked book and videotape library is yours to use, and an FM and CD sound system is also available. The front porch is the ideal place to read or relax with a beverage (you may bring your own alcohol), and a picnic table in the shade of the sweet gum tree near the rose bushes is a tranquil place to have lunch.
We have some tackle and will arrange for bait if you will tell us in advance. There is an open space through the pinewoods where our daughter had her wedding reception in 1999, and we have volleyball and badminton if you feel energetic. This space doubles as a sky-viewing area at night, and since there is no light and very little smog pollution, the stars literally jump out at you.

Do you feel you have to drink bottled water all the time? Well, you don't at Glenking! Our water comes from a 250 foot deep well and there are two Brita water filters in the frige. A water softener removes the iron and softens the water before you let it out of the faucet. SOOO...bring your own if you must, but rest assured that the water at Glenking is just about the best and purest you can find. We do ask that you bring your own alcohol beverage since we are not licensed to sell it.
Consider using Glenking B & B as a place to hold small (10 people) day retreats and conferences. It also makes a great place for a budget wedding, because the honeymoon place is right there!
