The Housley House Bed & Breakfast is a majestic Victorian manor that sits on the lofty
banks of the mighty Maumee River overlooking the quaint, historical town of Grand Rapids, Ohio.

The splendid Victorian Manor was built in 1886 and was considered one of the most prestigious homes of that time, yet it has been modernized to accommodate your needs, such as wireless computer, TV, DVD, centeral air and much more!   Today it is listed on the National Register of historical places and is still considered an architectural masterpiece in design.

The expansive porches invite guests to "take in" the pristine historical area of Grand Rapids and the majestic Maumee River . The beautifully landscaped grounds and English Garden are adorned with a 3 tiered water fountain, arbors, gazebos and sitting porches with a swing, rocking chairs, antique wicker furniture and much much more of the Victorian Italianate era.

Whether you sit on the extended porch swing and watch the activity of Grand Rapids or the river as it rushes by or just enjoying a campfire in our English Garden that is loaded with wonderful smelling perennials, beautiful roses, 2 gazebo's and a Victorian 3 tiered water fountain.

The Housley House offers a variety of guest rooms with private baths. Each room is accented with beautiful woodwork and marble pieces set in 19th century Victorian and Colonial style.

Three rooms have comfy queen-size Victorian beds with luxurious bedding that adds to the romantic feel of the Victorian age.

With every visit you will enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine, fresh warm gooey home made cookies awaiting for you on your bed, bottled water, a piece of something sweet before bed and a full 4 course gourmet breakfast each and every morning.

We offer many different and exciting extras! Too many to mention. But we promise that your stay with us, whether it be a short over niter or a vacation away from home, will be one to remember and one you will want to revisit time and time again.

As Innkeepers, we have been blessed everyday with the simple treasure of this house and our vision and desire is to fulfill those dreams of those that were a part of the house before us; The Enteman's and Larry Dillin. And that dream was to keep this beautiful home alive and full of love and for all to see.
