Green Gables Italian Cafe and Lodging is the perfect adult getaway, whether you are taking a romantic break, on vacation or in town for business. Green Gables is a warm and friendly Victorian-style home one block from the Pacific Ocean and one of the most beautiful stretches of sandy beach on the Oregon coast. We are within easy walking distance to shops, galleries and restaurants and are neighbors to the Newport Performing Arts Center, a great place to take in a play or movie. |

Our common areas are located on the lower level. Adjacent to our coffeehouse/bakery you'll find two rooms of mass market fiction, mysteries, thrillers, science fiction and westerns in both paperback and hard cover. A dedicated childrens' reading room and a discriminating selection of non-fiction are also sure to please.

Both our guest rooms have queen beds with down comforters, cable TV, DVD/VCR player, refrigerator, microwave and a private bathroom with a two-person whirlpool tub. |

If you reserve within the week of your arrival date, your cancellation must be received 24 hours prior to arrival date. There is no cancellation period for reservations made within 24 hrs. of arrival date. You will be responsible for the first night and any other nights that we cannot re-book.

While you're here, visit our coffeehouse, bakery and bookstore located in the lower level of the house. Best espresso drinks on the coast! We also feature Wicked Wix West candles - hand poured candles made with natural and organic materials in a variety of colors & scents!
