Oak Hill Bed & Breakfast - Ashland, Oregon - Inns

The Oak Hill is a quiet and comfortable 1910 farmhouse near Southern Oregon University and just three minutes drive to the fine shops and restaurants in Ashland and the theater plaza of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Parking in Ashland is free and plentiful.

The house is decorated with comfort in mind and filled with paintings and woodcarvings done by Tom and Pat's family and friends. You will feel like putting your feet up and relaxing with a book by the living room fireplace.

There are six, quiet, individually decorated guest rooms with queen beds, baths in room and individual heating and cooling controls.

Five rooms feature quaint electric fireplaces. Each room is supplied with Pat's house-made soaps, scrubs and lotions. The house is air-conditioned throughout for your comfort.

Breakfast is served in our sunny dining room with a picture window view of our garden or on the garden deck in the shade of an ancient black oak.

You are sure to enjoy the beauty and variety of the breakfast presentations offered by your host and cook, Pat Howard. Pat and Tom like to join the breakfast table conversation and talk with guests about the plays or just chat and enjoy a beautiful Rogue Valley morning.

Our hearty/healthy breakfasts include orange juice, just-baked muffins and scones topped with home-made jams and jellies, seasonal fruit and a variety of hot entrees such as Double Corn Pancakes with cranberry syrup or Smoked Salmon Roulade with grilled asparagus. We also have house-made granola, steel-cut oats and a selection of breakfast cereals. We easily accommodate special dietary requirements.

Take some time to read and relax on the porch swing, have a cool drink among the flowers in the garden pergola or on the deck. Enjoy the plants and birds while you critique the previous evening's OSF performance. Ashland enjoys beautiful weather and views and we provide the perfect spot for appreciating them, "far from the madding crowd".

Rates and Policies

Rates range from $89 - $159
A deposit of one night is required for each room; A deposit per room of 50% of total stay is required for stays of four days or more. Group reservations of four rooms or more require a 50% non-refundable deposit with the balance due forty-five days prior to arrival.
There is a $20 per room cancellation fee.
Notice of cancellation given twenty-one days or less prior to date of arrival will require payment of all reserved dates if rooms can not be re-booked.
Group reservations of 4 rooms or more for which final payment has been made are eligible for a cancellation refund only for the rooms we are able to rebook but not to exceed 50% of the total cost of the reservation.
A shortened stay will be treated as a cancellation.
Children over 12 are welcome.
We are unable to accommodate pets.
Smoking is not allowed in the Inn.
Check-in is 3:00 to 6:00 PM
Check-out is 11:00 AM
