Barley Sheaf Farm --  The erstwhile residence of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and playwright George S. Kaufmann--  has been a noted bed & breakfast inn for nearly two decades.

A park like setting provides beauty and seclusion ideally suited for a romantic getaway.

In the main building, which was built around 1740, the Farm offers gracious accommodation in two comfortable suites and five tastefully appointed rooms, each with its private bath facilities.

Three additional theme rooms with private baths in our charming cottage evoke reminiscences of country living. Escape to a truly pastoral retreat in our two distinctive barn suites, with long-distance, tranquil views of horse farms and meadows.

All guest rooms are air-conditioned. Three common rooms with fireplaces in both the main inn and the cottage offer a peaceful ambiance for relaxation, leisurely reading or socializing. There are eight rooms, four suites,  one Jacuzzi, some fireplaces.
