From the flowing stairway to the upstairs parlor to the beautiful accommodations in the three guest rooms, you will note the attention given to detail and your comfort at the Belvedere Bed and Breakfast.

Wander through Charleston's streets of gracious mansions and beautiful antebellum homes and breathe the air where heady perfumed gardens mingle gently with the sea breeze.

Fresh flowers and plants are seen throughout, and Oriental rugs, family antiques, and information of Charleston abound. The staff is always happy to assist you with tour, dining, and other reservations to make your stay more enjoyable.

The Belvedere is convenient to all of Charleston's famous house museums, many fine restaurants, antique shops, and other places of interest.

Plus, the entire Lowcountry area is famous for its wonderful beaches, golf courses, tennis facilities, Civil War forts, gardens, and plantations.

Rooms and Rates
  • The Todd Room - The Master bedroom overlooking Colonial Lake has an 11' ceiling, queen "Rope and Vine" 4-poster canopied bed, sitting area, antiques, and elegant new white marble bathroom with tub and shower. Rate: $175 - $195
  • The Frampton Room - This Grand Room looks out over the piazza to Colonial Lake, with 11' ceiling, 4-poster queen Charleston rice bed with canopy, antiques, Oriental rugs, ornamental fireplace with sitting area, and private bath with large shower. Rate: $155 - $175
  • The Spell Room - Romantic queen bedroom overlooking the patio and garden areas with 4-poster Charleston rice bed with canopy, 11' ceiling, ornamental fireplace, and private white marble bathroom with tub and shower. Rate: $155 - $175

Inn Policies
  • Charleston has become a year-round popular destination; however, our peak seasons are Spring and Fall, as well as most weekends, especially Holiday weekends.
  • Rates include Southern continental breakfast and afternoon sherry and homemade snacks.
  • Children over 12 years of age are welcome.
  • A one night deposit by check is requested at time of reservation.
  • We accept personal or corporate checks, traveler's checks and cash.
  • Sorry we are unable to accept credit cards.
  • Because we are a small establishment, only 4% local taxes are charged (larger properties are required to collect 12%).
  • The property is totally NON-SMOKING except on piazzas outside.
