| Early this century, the building that is now Inn On The River was part of a unique complex known as Dr. Snyder's Drugless Health Sanatarium. Snyder, who touted himself as a "magnetic healer," knew that people liked to be pampered. He fed them well, provided them with hot baths and comfortable rooms, and generally gave them the kind of personal attention that made them want to return, time and again. |

Much has changed through the years, but Dr. Snyder's spirit is still alive.
Our intimate size allows us to cater to the individual needs of your small group. You will enjoy the kind of personal service you just can't get at large hotels or conference centers. We don't claim to possess healing powers, but we do hold true to the doctor's belief that each guest should leave feeling refreshed and renewed.
The Inn, which is designated a Texas Historical Landmark, is elegantly furnished to provide the ultimate in comfort.
No two rooms are alike, but each is tastefully decorated with an antique armoire, fine European linens, a feather bed and a goose-down comforter. All rooms have a private bath. And, you'll love the fact that our rooms do not have televisions. |

Start your day with rich, Columbian coffee, fresh-squeezed orange
juice and sweet, delicious fruit. Then, enjoy fresh-from-the-oven pastries and muffins and
a main course that may be anything from eggs benedict to croissant French toast with hot
maple syrup.
Dinner is equally impressive. No matter what your tastes are, you'll fall
in love with the exquisite, three and four-course gourmet dinners at the Inn. A typical
dinner might include: tomato basil soup, fresh salad greens with raspberry vinaigrette,
mesquite grilled beef tenderloin, potatoes bernadette, fresh vegetable sauté, homemade
rolls and white chocolate cheesecake. Although the Inn does not serve alcohol, you
are more than welcome to bring your own beer, wine or liquor.

under 16 years of age and pets. Smoking is permitted outdoors.
