Just on the outskirts of Corpus Christi, Texas, we welcome you to discover Knolle Farm & Ranch, with its upscale country inn, working ranch, and event and wedding facilities. It is a place truly unique to this area; but still capturing the best of historic south Texas culture and hospitality. It stands alone in its own special world, quite different from what comes to most minds when one thinks of this area. You wont find flat farmlands or sand dunes, or miles of dense brush country. Nor will you find the pressures of city-life or the noise and commotion of such places. Instead, slip slowly into a small pocket of gently rolling hills and hundreds of acres of broad green Nueces river-bottom land, dotted with ancient oaks dripping with low hanging moss. It is a pastoral countryside where rugged meets refined. It is remote yet easily accessible. It is graceful and romantic with its quaint white clapboard chapel that is perfect for a Corpus Christi wedding, yet, ever so strong and solid a home to many.
This historic, private ranch that was the home of the world's largest herd of Jersey cattle opened its doors to share its way of life in 1997. We invite you to join us here in experiencing a classic Texas country retreat. Do not expect to find ten gallon hats, 5" spurs or barbed wire bedside lamps. No, here you will find honest, unpretentious, traditional hospitality and warmth based on a long heritage of 5 generations of family. It exudes true Texas class and an authentic timeless grace, setting us aside from others.

The "Casita" consists of one bedroom, with a king size bed, entrance hall, bath with footed tub and shower, and a small living room and kitchen area. To say that mealtime is important in our household is an understatement - it is the high point of our day!
Life in the country has some unique differences from "city life." One of the biggest of these is the absence of "fast food" restaurants; therefore, most meals are prepared at home. Meals have been a time for us to gather together, sometimes for hours, laughing and talking. Guests are always welcome, as the table just seems to grow.

Family reunions, weddings, small corporate groups, and tours are our specialty, with facilities to take care of your group, be it rain or shine. Our grounds, picnic areas, and river property provide the perfect settings for special occasions, and our large recreation room provides a "back-up" facility if the weather turns bad.
Knolle Farm and Ranch is, above all things, a working South Texas cattle ranch - a commercial "cow-calf" operation. Although we were originally a renowned dairy farm, we now devote our energies to raising high quality beef cattle. With a mother cow herd of approximately 500 head, we strive to produce uniform loads of calves, which fit in high quality carcass "niches". Our calves are all Red Angus sired, "backgrounded" here on the ranch, and sold on video.
Our guests are welcome to view our cattle and participate in cattle round-ups and special "work weekends".
