Our Inn/Lodge and Cabins are nestled at the base
of the beautiful La Sal Mountains, in Southeastern, Utah. Lisa
Ballantyne provides day spa amenities to guest and the local public. The
body treatments offered include; relaxing & therapeutic massage, soothing body wraps,
and rejuvenating skin care treatments. Pedicure and facials must be booked in advance.
Enjoy a glass of wine, beer, or juice while sitting back on the deck or in the sun room,
with unobstructed views of the La Sal Mountains.
For Recreation, our facility is centrally located for guests who choose to experience the Needles
and Island in the Sky Districts of the Canyonlands, Arches
National Park, and Moab. In addition, our guests can experience the La
Sal Mountains, which offers unexplored mountain biking, hiking, snow shoeing,
cross country skiing, and a large selection of off road trails. The Inn/Lodge
and Cabins are off the beaten path but a comfortable proximity to all area
attractions.

The Inn/Lodge and Cabins has six uniquely decorated rooms, a sun room dining area, comfort room with fireplace, and an outdoor deck and hot tub. What makes our facility memorable is our private, relaxed atmosphere in a country setting on ten acres. Our guests are welcomed by a crackling fire, a warm cozy atmosphere and genuine hospitality. |
The health conscious individual staying at Mt. Peale can rest assured their needs can be met. Lisa Ballantyne, co-owner and chef, provides excellent, nutritious meals all of which are from scratch. Vegetarian specialties will be made when requested in advance.
Breakfast is served to all guests between 8:00 am to 9:30 am and can be purchased in advance for $8.99 per person(Full Breakfast).

FACILITIES
The health conscious individual staying at Mt. Peale, a Moab Mountain Lodging Facility can
rest assured their needs can be met. Lisa Ballantyne, Klysta Ashby provide excellent,
nutritious meals all of which are from scratch. Vegetarian and Raw foods specialties will
be made when requested in advance.
Dinner is served THURSDAY THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT and options range in price from $10.50 to $25.99 and will be served at 6:30pm. Tuesday and Wednesday, please plan to eat dinner at some of the area's great restaurants.
The dinner options range in price from $9 to $25 and will be served between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 pm., depending on the season. Lisa or Teague will fix a sack lunch for $7.50 per person for people taking a day trip to one of the parks or a day of peace and quiet in the mountains. Sack lunches must be ordered the night before.
The Inn features micro brew beer from the Famous Eddie Mc. Stiff's located in Moab, Utah. Additionally, we offer juices, soda pop, coffee, teas and natural well water.
Warm Weather Activities |
Golf, Fish, Four Wheel, Hike, or Mt. Bike from Mt. Peale Country Inn or take a short drive to the desert country below. There is no better exercise for the mind and body than following a trail through this beautiful area. The National Parks are a bonus for this area. Canyonlands Needles District in one of the less populated areas and the Innkeepers favorite place to play. |
Winter Recreation |
Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe in the La Sal Mountains or Snowmobile on
the Colorado Plateau. Within 95 miles of the Inn, one can take a day trip to Telluride, Colorado for alpine skiing. The Inn can get a total of 6 to 14 feet of snow during any given winter. The 7500 feet elevation affords cool summer temperatures and mild winter temperatures. |
Tours and Rentals |
Teague can help you set up tours to Canyonlands and Arches National Parks.
Additional day trips to Monument Valley, Mesa Verde , Telluride or Ouray, Colorado can be arranged. She can also schedule your river trip, horseback trip, guided hike or a private fishing trip. The Inn has rentals available including snowshoes,bikes, fishing poles, tents, and sleeping bags. |
Star gazing & bird
watching are a must at Mt. Peale. Lisa & Teague will be
holding bird and star gazing classes this season.
