Enjoy a sumptuous full breakfast of fruits, baked goods and hot entree
served in the Great Room each morning. After breakfast, head for the beach with
complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and boogie boards - or ask us for other
suggestions ... there is so much to do here at the beach. In the summer, it is fun to
watch the fireworks over the water ... and you won't have to leave your second floor porch
rocker to do it!
In cooler weather, after your hearty breakfast, enjoy a day of whale watching with
scientists from the Virginia Marine Science Museum, or
explore the many museums and shops in the area. Of course, the fish are biting at every
time of year, and the Virginia Beach Fishing Center runs party boats and
charters all year. Or catch your limit from the fishing pier only 3 blocks away. Return to
the cottage for hot chocolate, tea or mulled cider while deciding where to dine and
whether to enjoy a play, concert, the ballet or opera. Alternatively, you can always order
in, and pop a DVD in the player or watch a movie on the cable TV in the Great Room.
