White Fence Bed and Breakfast  is a beautiful 1890 Queen Anne Victorian on 3 acres at the edge of the small town of Stanley, just 10 minutes south of Luray.

We are 25 minutes from Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park and just 90 minutes from Dulles Airport. We cater to those seeking a private, romantic stay in beautiful surroundings

Following their move to Virginia from the South of France, new British owners Mike and Sally Dixon have brought a unique European influence to the Inn, which judging by the accolades they have received from their guests, has proved to be extremely popular. They can promise a first class Bed and Breakfast experience."

Superior accommodations include 2 cottage suites and 1 B&B suite.

All suites feature fireplace, whirlpool for 2, queen bed, TV-VCR & much more.

Rates,Policies & Procedures:

  • $175.00 per night (Shenandoah Suite and Blue Ridge Carriage House), $185.00 per night (English Ivy Cottage),double occupancy, Friday and Saturday and all holiday periods.
  • $155.00 per night (Shenandoah Suite and Blue Ridge Carriage House), $165.00 (English Ivy Cottage), Sunday-Thursday, excluding holidays. Stays of two and more nights Sunday-Thursday are $140.00 each night for Shenandoah Suite and Carriage House and $150 for English Ivy Cottage.
  • $129.00 per night for Blue Ridge Carriage House Room with queen bed, TV-VCR, private bath with tub and shower - no jacuzzi. Weekends and holidays excluded.
  • All suites an additional $10.00 Friday and Saturday during October.
  • Saturday one-night stays are $10.00 higher when available.
  • Two night minimum weekends, holidays and during October's peak fall season.
  • 7-day cancellation policy – any cancellation made within the 7 days results in the entire stay being charged to you. If room is re-rented, charge is refunded less $25 cancellation fee.
  • Two persons per suite
  • No smoking, no pets
  • Check-in 3:00 – 9:00 p.m.
  • Checkout by 11:00 a.m.
  • Deposit equal to one night's stay with Visa, MasterCard. Checks accepted if received 10 days prior to arrival date.
  • $25.00 charge for any cancellation

Breakfast is a real treat at The White Fence B&B because Gwen is an artist when it comes to food preparation.

You have two choices for breakfast If you want total privacy, you can choose a hearty continental breakfast delivered to your door in a beautifully arranged basket, or you can opt for a full gourmet breakfast at the B&B at 9 a.m.

The breakfast basket might include Jumbo Blueberry Muffins, Cantaloupe wedges, Cereal, Orange Juice and fresh ground coffee. If you opt for the full gourmet breakfast this might include a Poached Pear with Cinnamon Sauce, Poppyseed Muffins, and Apple Puff Pancake with Sausage, fresh ground Coffee and Orange Juice. Presentation is an important part of breakfast and is a treat in itself.
