An 1859 Vermont Inn
with splendid views overlooking the Bennington
Monument and Green Mountains of Vermont, the Alexandra B&B offers an
elegant understated respite for weary business travelers or vacationing
adventurers.
The Alexandra B&B Inn is located on Historic Route 7A south, at the edge of town. Our location allows guest, to be within 5 to 15 minutes of: Downtown Bennington, Historic sites, Museums, Shops, Bennington College, Southern Vermont College, Williams College as well as major companies in the area and local businesses.

The Main House Inn features six spacious, recently refurbished, light-filled bedrooms appointed with quality linens on comfortable King or Queen four poster beds. Coordinated furnishings offer guests a warm English country house ambiance in restful colors such as forest green, burgundy and sophisticated floral. |
Each room has private and modern bathrooms with showers and tubs, most of them with water jets. Cable TV, Telephone, fireplace, A/C and wireless internet are some of the modern amenities added to the rooms. Guests are invited to use the sitting room, sunroom, terrace and grounds.
Our Latest Addition:
We have added six more beautiful rooms. The New Addition is located next to the Main
House and has a Colonial style front. We designed these rooms with sophistication to
provide you with the comfort of modern accommodations. Each room is appointed with a
sitting area by the fireplace, 25" Cable TV and VCR, A/C,
Telephone, Wireless Internet, an incredibly comfortable King-size Bed and full private
bathrooms with jets in the tub.
Our Delicious Full Gourmet Breakfast
Our delicious full gourmet breakfast consist of a selection of juices, hot beverages, home-mixed granola with dried fruits and nuts, fresh fruit salad, pastry and an originally prepared hot main dish complement the formula for a wonderful experience and a great way to start the day.
Breakfast is served from: 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Coffee and hot water for tea are available as early as 7:00 a.m.
Afternoon tea: hot water for tea or lemonade (according to the season) and freshly baked cookies or a cake will be available in the breakfast room between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Dinner at the Bistro: the Bistro serves a four-course gourmet candle lit dinner by reservation only. Dinner is offered exclusively to the Inn's guests and their friends. Although we have twelve rooms at the Inn, we can only cater dinner service to a maximum of four rooms on any given night. The menu changes daily and it is a one choice, price-fix affair. Locally sourced (when available) ingredients for the menu are delivered in the morning and prepared during the afternoon. We portion only what we need for the day, for this very reason reservations must be made at least one day prior to dinner service. Special dietary needs and/or requests will be kindly considered with sufficient time in advance.
We will be happy to arrange different times from the above to suit your traveling needs as long as it does not interfere with the daily operation of the B&B.
