Woodstock's main shopping area is only a few minutes walk away, and attractions such as Billings Farm and Woodstock's historic covered bridge are within easy reach. Dine out at award winning restaurants and experience an old world atmosphere. Shop for fine clothing or visit one of Woodstock's many art galleries or the oldest general store in Vermont. When you have finished strolling around the village of Woodstock, you'll be served afternoon refreshments by your innkeepers, Charlotte and Cary Hollingsworth.

Things to do

In the summertime guests take great delight in Vermont's fresh air by walking, hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, boating, and swimming.

During the winter months, guests enjoy sleigh rides, downhill, x-country skiing and snowshoeing
at the many nearby outstanding Vermont ski areas including Killington, Suicide Six, Okemo and Pico.

Rates and Policies
  • Our rates are between $140-$225 nightly, based on double occupancy, and subject to 9% Vermont state tax. A full breakfast is included.There will be a $25 dollar charge for each additional person in any room.
  • Reservations are suggested. 50% on multiple night reservations; 100% on one night stay.
  • Cancellation:
    * If you should need to cancel, we will refund your deposit, less a $25.00 per room cancellation fee, provided that at least fourteen days advance notice is given.
    * If you cancel with less than fourteen days notice and we are able to rebook the room, we will refund your deposit, less $25.00. If we are unable to rebook the room, we cannot refund your deposit.
    * Cancellation of reservations for “fall foliage,” September 22 through October 25, 2008, requires at least 30 days notice.
    * Cancellation of reservations for Dartmouth College graduation weekend requires at least six months notice.
    * Cancellations of reservations with notice of 48 hours or less, late arrivals or early departures are responsible for and will be charged for the entire reservation.
  • Guest are received between 4 PM and 6 PM. God's speed by 11:00 AM. Check-in as early as 2 PM by prior arrangement.
  • Children 7 years old and older accepted.

  • The Ardmore Inn is smoke free - if smoke is detected in any guest room a cleaning fee of $150 will be charged.
