As the sun rises over the mountains you will awake to the
delightful aroma of breakfast being prepared.
Here at The Birds Nest Inn our 3-course candlelight breakfasts are carefully created to

Vermont Maple Syrup, Ben & Jerry's sorbets & ice creams and a variety of local
farm produce. |

Your first course consists of our muffins,
breads or coffeecakes baked here daily. Some of our guests favorites are maple walnut
muffins, pear bread and a raspberry-almond coffeecake drizzled with Vermont raspberry
maple syrup. |
With
much care we select all our fruits daily to create your second course. Some of the fruit
dishes we serve here include raspberry poached pear surprise, warm maple bananas with Ben
& Jerry's vanilla ice cream, fresh fruit plate with Ben & Jerry's sorbet and
homemade pizzeles with strawberries and fresh whipped cream that will delight your senses.
The fun just begins when your final
course arrives. It may consist of our zesty orange french toast , apple puffed pancake,
fresh fruit filled homemade crepes, baked peach french toast, blueberry pancakes or
bursting from all sides, our berry delicious waffle sandwich. Our hearty egg dishes
include vegetable strata, fluffy broccoli quiche, omelet of the day and our pastry egg
nest which are all served with our own homemade oatmeal or honey whole wheat bread. All of
our meals are accompanied by maple-cured bacon or sausage from a local smokehouse.
Diet-restricted selections are available.
