From the moment you enter each of our eleven guest rooms and suites you are surrounded with romantic decor and gentle comforts. The Inn at Water's Edge provides the best of luxury appointments blended skillfully with the details of a cozy Vermont Inn. A splendid king size 4-poster cherry bed, a French-style carved bed, an extra large jacuzzi or a two room suite overlooking the Black River, are just a sampling of the elegance you can expect at our Victorian Estate.
Each guest room is individually decorated and elegantly furnished. Each room includes personal heat control, air conditioning, a private bath with jacuzzi and special amenities to please even the most discriminating traveler. |

Each reservation is based on double occupancy including a complimentary "Welcome to Vermont" libation, a four-course candlelit dinner and a hearty country breakfast the next morning.
Enjoy a Vermont country breakfast or dine on our outdoor patio along side the songs of the flowing Black River, or indulge in a scrumptious four course dinner in our romantic dining room in front of the fireplace. After dinner, cap the evening with a cocktail at Doc's Pub. The dining experience at the Inn is sure to excite your palette. Our menu changes daily and includes local favorites and well as classic dishes. Please notify us when making a reservation if you have any special dietary needs.
Serving dinner nightly , the ambiance of our dining room is one of country elegance with the comforts of home.
Doc's Place, our 100 year old English pub is the perfect place to mingle with old and new friends in front of a roaring fire. And of course there is always the "Welcome to the Inn" libation waiting at your favorite seat in the bar.
There is so much to do and see here in the Lakes Region it would be nearly impossible to list everything here. However, we offer you a sample of activities that our guests enjoy while visiting the Inn and the surrounding area.
