Picture a European style country house hotel cascading
down a limestone ridge on fifteen levels, 2000 panes of glass flooding
the interior with light. Imagine the rich patina of old wood, and the gleam of polished
brass, the deep jewel tones of oriental carpets. Imagine, too, Flemish
oils, African masks, dramatic contemporary sculpture, and a library lined with
books.
Add the flicker of candles, the warmth of a fire. A love seat. An intimate table for two.
A quiet place to be alone together. Gardens bursting with color, a meandering stream and
ducks on the pond. The gold of Autumn. The beauty of a winter storm.
And Dinner. Five spectacular courses. Fragrant herbs from the kitchen
dooryard; vegetables from a nearby farm. Sophisticated yet unpretentious. Elegant.
Eclectic.
Circa 1700. This graceful English Tudor inn meanders down the hillside overlooking a pond framed by daffodils and 18 acres of estate grounds that include streams, gardens and wooded walks. The land once belonged to George Washington, and although most of the current structure was built in 1920, part began in the 1700s. Decorated in a European country-house style, the inn is replete with rich dark woods and interesting pieces that demand a lengthy stay to fully enjoy. In 2004 we purchased the Hillbrook Inn, A Country House Hotel. From the moment we drove down the driveway we fell in love and knew we had to make it an important part of our life. We did not just want to hold this dream for ourselves; we wanted to share it with everyone.

The Cottages: A quick walk down the stone path from Main house, the beautiful building is located on the back of the property, offering a distinctive level of privacy and each decorated with a sense of style and uniquely hand painted. This is the perfect space for guests looking for extra privacy and upgraded amenities. Pets are welcome in winter, spring, summer and fall cottage. Please review pet policy. Main House :The antique filled main house offers rooms with character and charm. Hard wood floors with jewel tone oriental carpets, custom duvets and coverlets, along with a unique style.

Dinner
Sumptuous five-course candlelit dinner served in our elegant and eclectic
dining room Thursdays – Sundays seating promptly at 8:00pm.
Our menu is determined by the market availability as well as dietary needs, restrictions
and dislikes of our guests in the dining room. There will be no menu presented at dinner,
instead every course is a pleasant surprise designed by Executive Chef Christine Hale.
Please do not hesitate to tell us your dietary preferences, because you will be pleasantly
surprised with her ability to adapt a menu for the dietary needs of all our guests;
including the needs of a diabetic or a vegetarian guest. Along with a long list of dietary
requirements and allergies we often work around, Executive Chef Christine Hale
incorporates only the freshest and finest of ingredients in her set menu. Reservation
Required. $65.00 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Lunch
Join us for a three-course leisurely lunch overlooking our extensive
grounds between 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm Thursday - Sunday.
There will be no menu presented at lunch at Hillbrook Inn. Instead, Executive Chef
Christine Hale takes the dietary needs, restrictions and dislikes and designs a set menu
daily to accommodate guest’s needs. Each course is a splendid surprise and a
delightful experience for your palate. Reservations Required. $35.00 per person plus tax
and gratuity
Breakfast
Hillbrook provides a delicious two-course gourmet breakfast included with
your room stay.
Breakfast may not apply with some specials.
High Tea
- Relax with friends and enjoy Five-Courses of Savories and Sweets. Perhaps you could even indulge in a glass of chilled Champagne in our elegant and cozy surroundings. This traditional afternoon may be the perfect backdrop for your next garden meeting, bridal shower or just a day to refresh yourself with the company of friends.

Bullskin Tavern
You do not have to be a guest of Hillbrook Inn to join us for a cocktail. Enjoy the bar, sit in front of the roaring fire in our living room or take pleasure in sitting on the sunny front terrace. Many guests enjoy playing on the baby grand piano or listening to the fountain on the front terrace during their visit. You are welcome to stop by the Tavern for a drink and a tour of the Inn Thursday – Sunday
